Thnx Gerv, for making me feel much much better about not coming to Budapest :f_mad:

Btw, do you know if they are going to organize more of these sport+party events?

And Akos, show us the pics!

yea, we did talk about you now he knows all your dirty secrets!

By the way, drink distribution was significantly different from the Muenster event (not better or worse, just different), so the point is that I got drunk enough to be stupid enough not to take many pictures ;D but I'll get into the official ones as well and see what I can do :)

So, I guess this isn't going to be as long as the Muenster one since this was "just the dinner+party" for me, and not a whole trip :f_grin:

And yep, as the previous sentence implies, I didn't go to the football match, I really don't like playing football plus I live far-ish from the hotel (well, not even in Budapest, technically), so it wouldn't have been easy to go home for a shower and change and whatever. Anyway...

So, obviously the whole highway was locked down when I was coming :facepalm: so I got like 30 minutes late, but it was ok, considering that all the people were still in the "ready-room" _grin: where we could stand around small tables and have some champagne and chat before the dinner. I think it was a great idea, because it's much easier to move around and recognize/meet people than at a dinner.

akrammon notices the camera, so with a poorly improvised fake smile he pretends to be the part of a conversation where a guy he doesn't know is talking

So, we had some introducing chats with a few players, then we moved to the dining room and took a pretty good dinner, with some amazing merlot, I really liked that. Sorry Tim, I have no command of food-reading abilities such as yours, I can't describe it much deeper :f_biggrin: I had some chicken :f_biggrin:

Man, the view from that room was OMFGWTFOMFG. I mean I know that city, I practically live there, seen it at night several times, but man, this was fucking amazing. I'm so sorry there are no pictures of that view. I'm not a big fan of Budapest myself, but this was truly incredible.

So, after we finished the dinner and were having some conversation, Mr. amikron has finally found me, and I joined him and a bunch of other hungarian SnG players at another table - all of whom I have known from their screennames. I've had a great conversation with them as well, there is not much to say, really :)

The Mix Club

Then we moved to the Mix Club somewhat before midnight, we took our places at the tables and we got served a fucking shitload amount of drinks. At that moment, I was like "I have a baaaaad feeling about this", but of course your rational mind quickly gets overthrown in situation like this (and after like a bottle of that merlot), but luckily I was strong enough to stay away from Jägermeister, I've seen waaay too many "+1"'s after the "That fucking Jager..." comment in the hungarian forum

lol, I feel so stupid when I post a pic like this :f_biggrin: :f_biggrin:

So, I've met dhw86 and Gerv as well, we had some nice chat too, then we were partying! There is not much to say about this part, it was a fucking amazing party!! We partied until 5:00 am, when the last song hit off, we asked the dj to give us some more, but meh we didn't get any :f_cry: At this point there weren't many people there besides us I think.

So, the remainder of the team (still a healthy 20-30 people from the 50) went for an "afterparty", codename: breakfast, to the local Subway. I had no appetite for a sandwich, so I said my farewells after I walked the guys to the place, around 6 am. Originally it was supposed to be a gyros or a kebab but obviously everything closed 5 minutes before we got there.

Anyway, I wanted to express my concerns to fellow SnG player yonggery0, who is hungarian, yet had a really really hard time speaking hungarian at 6 am, I hope he is fine and well _biggrin:

I'm really sad that the SnG crew couldn't make it to this one, I'd really love to see you in Budapest next year guys!! (and of course I really hope that we will see each other sooner than that, maybe at another event?)

Cheers guys!!

p.s. for farewells, here's two pictures of Budapest:

AHAHAHAHAH! _biggrin: _biggrin: _biggrin: Finally! Good, good, you are improving your sense of humor imo! But man... Judging by the other pics, you got drunk once again. Now I know- there was no limit for the drinks so there was no stopping you.
I can't believe it. Fkn students life. No wonder how you were able to drink 5 litres of beer everyday in Muenster and not even getting tipsy. Jesus...

Nice report man, such a shame I didn't go, but enough about that.

Btw, why do you have the "kurrkabin" pose on picture 3? :f_biggrin:

@kurrk
lol, thanks I guess :P

@Demonic
lol, good question, but I think my bodybuilder pose needs to be improved (a lot) to reach that of Mr. Kurrk's :) but honestly, I'll just try to avoid it next time :)

Thanks for the concerns, i'm fine, was a bit still drunk next afternoon,but it happens to me from time to time.The glass of wine , which was always full, no matter how much you drank of it, and the unlimited alcohol at the club had its effects.It was good meeting you, finally i know who writes this blog :)

My man! Hehe _biggrin: Gratz in first place. I am really curious, should we expect some videos/ live coachings with you in the near future? That would be fun! Good luck once again, man. I think you will do a good job.
