Hand 1: Bet less on the flop for balance reasons. A 30 cent bet here would be fine as you don't want to fold out all the hands that you absolutely crush like someone with KK or a gutshot straight draw. Indeed given you have blockers to the straight draw there really aren't that many turn cards you're scared of. Rest of the hand played out standardly although there is an argument for saying villain is never bluffing the turn and with only 9 outs on the river it might well be a turn fold against a tight opponent.

Hand 2: Given you were the preflop aggressor a cbet is mandatory and this bet size should again be balanced. Think about what you would bet if you had 9988 or AAT4 and make that bet the same size with QQ (personally again I would be going for around half pot, this has the added benefit of someone possibly checkraising me with a draw thinking I am weak).
The turn is an awful card for us and the worse card in the deck to hit on the turn. I am happy checking this turn card back and letting villain bluff into us on the river. If villain had 88 or 22 he shoves the flop so really betting this turn just isolates us against the nuts or a slowplayed AA from the SB. If we are still ahead then there aren't many river cards that are going to change this.

are we really that worried about balancing at plo5? I had heard not even to worry about that until plo50 or even later..

highly doubt hes not 4betting all AA, but do agree on the checking behind (then check calling river im assuming?)

Balancing is sometihng you do when you know nothing about your opponent.

If villain is the kind of guy to call with a gutshot when you bet full pot, then sure, go ahead and bet full pot. Personal reads will always take priority.
