I didn't notice that I didn't have the Call20 requirement met prior to my pre-flop call with pocket sevens. Other than that, I am wondering if I should have played anything differently.

Preflop: Yep, fold it preflop while we don't get the Call20 rule here.

As played
Postflop: Well, of course you can't get away on the turn as long you even Bet for value there. :) So if you bet then you are also planning to play for the stacks. If not then Check it behind.
