My choices are more a reflection of how I play post flop, and what kind of hands I would call or raise a 3Bet, rather than what I think the hand's actual value is.

Mind you i'm not really a cash game player but here are my thoughts :
S1 :
TT,,KJo,33, A4s,78s
I would def. fold A4s and 78s in a new 6 max game I just joined. 33 would b a borderline raise. Same for KJo. TT would be the only hand I would feel confortable to raise UTG on a new table.
S2 :
KJo, TT, A4s,78s,33.
I don't like playing low PP vs calling station because you know that they will call you with almost any 2 pairs. KJ and TT seems strong enough hand to raise a lot and feel confortable with, KJo is first because it will make top pair most often while with TT you might get into tricky spots.A4s against calling station is ok, you might have to play it a bit passive if you dont hit an ace and try to win the pot A high. 78s has a lot of hope for a big pot and could take a lot of money from him...

Why would we sit down and post as UTG? Clearly any thinking player waits for his bb before posting?

I rank these hands all the same. Assuming we are open raising all of these hands (And there is no reason not to do so), we are also folding to any 3bet. We are an unknown raising utg, no one is 3betting us light. If players call in pos, we just check fold flops we miss and continue where our equity is good. Most of the time everyone will give our utg raise credit (unless its NL5 - NL2) and simply fold. We win the the blinds, next hand. For this reason 7♣ 2♠ is equaly viable in this spot. In some ways it's better because we can show it after everyone folds to establish a little bit of metta for the session! ♠_cool:

For this hand pocket 10's is clearly the best. A likely situation is the fish calls and the reg squeezes, we now have a nice profitable 4bet/call spot with dead money. If the reg does not squeeze we can easily value bet against the fish on low boards and pot control in pos if over cards hit. K♣ J♠ & A♦ 4♦ are roughly the same in value in this spot. They both have good blocker value so we can 4bet/fold vs the regs squeeze or make top pair vs the fish. 7♥ 8♥ & 3♣ 3♥ I feel dont play well in this spot as we can't 4 bet profitably if the reg squeezes and they have low equity against the calling station fish's range.
