with $35 you are doing well but what games you playing and at what point will stick to strick bank roll management

at $40 you could play SSS on NL10 tables but the higher tables always seems easier to play and the sng below $5 are lotto as well and are you still playing limit

Hey Acerdna,

Good luck on your endeavour! Sticking to BRM is hard when you have less than $50 - but you put up a very impressive (and quick) jump from $1 to $35. I would say the hardest part of the journey is already behind you. (It took Ferguson nearly less time from $35 to $10.000 than from $0 to $35 if I remember correctly)

So just keep grinding

Best regards,

that's not hard soy.

he took 7 months stuck on <10$ if i recall..

i think i could spin 10$ into 10000$ in 7 months, (or so i would hope), lol

Hi curnow,
I play SH limit. Up to 1/2 I play with 100 BBs (my bad ) - sometimes with even less... from there on I will stick to 300 BBs

I must say I was lucky so far the beginning went well.
I certainly dont think would take me less time from 35$ to 5K$ (would mean I would finish by the end of the week LOL). And Ferguson started from 0... I would need a few years to reach 35$
Thanks for encouragement !

That's where Pokerstrategy comes in handy.

Spam a few sites and you'll get a few referred TAFs for phr33 $$$!

Hey Acerdna I think it's awesome you're trying to go pro on FL and congrats on your quick start. I also play FL (although far from pro) and am wondering if you'd like to swap msns to talk poker some time.

Best of luck

I dont do msn but u can find me on YM username Acerdna.

End of ... cant remember if its the 4th day ...probably the 5th.
Huge swings... looking back on some hands I played I realise I changed my game according to the BR. :(
Should have gone a limit lower.
However, the final result is OK: BR = 115$

As you probably guessed (BR 115$) I jumped again on a higher limit (.5/1 and from 80$ -1/2).
Its been ok so far (flopped quads twice) up untill now. I dont get into details you all now how it is...set beat by a higher set, top 2 pairs vs set etc.
Atm I`m down to 75$... i`ll go down at least 1 limit till I get over it

You really should use BRM, especially from 0.5/1 and up. I was a pretty big winner in 0.5/1 and 1/2, but I've had multiple times where I lost 40BB in like 10 minutes.

You had a nice start, but now it's time to follow BRM and move up slowly. You chose to start from $0, so now you have to deal with the fact that moving up goes slowly.

You are right Yoghi, I dont know why I found it hard to go lower.
Went down to .5/1 and finished with a BR of 150$.
From here i`ll take my time :)

Maybe he went on holiday :P To bad. I'm doing a similar thing, except I'm turning my FPPs in to a bankroll

At 42$ at the moment.
