Should i bet the turn getting value from flush draws or give him free card to improve? I was betting river larger to look like i was trying to push him off with air...

Pot the flop to protect and get value from draws and Kx hands?

first hand:
i check turn to make him improve and value bet the river about 270.
you can only pot or overbet the river if you know he can call the tricky bet.

second hand:
i dont usually donk. i check/call the nut flush draw

third hand:
bet 65% of pot for protection. one way or another if fish has the flush draw he will call even an ALL IN.

I agree with k4ileb.
You can make pot size bets only if he is really big calling station on very wet boards, in other situations i just make 65-70% bet, no need to make bigger. Play it for value, and if you got nuts and think he has air, than give him opportunity to improve and make valuebet 45-50% pot.

Hi all,

Please post 1 hand per thread!!

Hand 1: Fold preflop! You cannot profitably set mine here. As a rule of thumb the moment you get into <40BB stage you should not openlimp, instead raise or fold the hand preflop. 33 is not good enough to openraise so folding is best.

Postflop: flop is good. We call to let UTG+2 call.

Turn is no good! We want to build a pot, pot is only 480 at this point so if we wanted to bet the river big we can't get nearly as much in as we'd like. Plus villains aren't folding flushdraws here on the turn as they often have 2 overcards to go with it, so we can really charge flushdraws! I'd bet something like 340-360.

River he's shown so much weakness I think betting 270 or so is better to ensure a call.

Hand 2: I'd just check the flop. This way we get to keep worse flushdraws in. Turn as played I'd check/call but betting's not much worse.

Hand 3: I make it 200 or so on the flop. If flop was slightly more drawheavy I think we can pot it. I like the lead.
