Hey Gary,
I'm currently playing on sit and go tournaments; buy in 30 cents to $1.50 and top 5 players get paid. I find that I lose less money when I'm playing with chips rather than betting a few cents every round on cash tables. At the moment, my goal is to climb up your poker strategy to get to gold status. I really want to access the higher tier articles this site has to offer in order to improve my game.

It seems you've got the right idea, take your time, learn and move up when able to using a sensible bankroll management strategy. You may be playing micro stakes now but as you said yourself, learning with Pokerstrategy will help you gain the knowledge to beat your game.
Have you attended any sit and go coaching sessions yet? Beginners coachings usually rin from 12:00 - 13:30 on a Sunday. Led by chenny8888 our sit and go beginners learn from a world class professional with many many wins to his name. Can't go wrong there really, can you!? You can ask questions so don't be shy to do so!
Anything else you need to know, just ask.
