Lol it isn't a standard fold by any means. Just villian is super super passive and idk it's very close but I think shoving is pretty horrible and also I don't really like setmining for such a big portion of my stack. I guess calling is OK and stack off on dry flops and call it a setup but w/e i would rather play out my edge.

And i finally have a star on sharkscope - not had one before since I'm always changing games to much to get ranked well in any :f_cool:

thats very smart of you.

speaking of sharkscope, tested it on a 18 man sng at stars just to see how well it worked (i know 1 tourney is no sample size but whatevs)

after 23 mins im up to 6k. lots of bad players in this tourney making stupid calls. I think this shark thing might just work lol, cuz ive never been up to 6k this fast nor have i ever played an 18 man 6 max sng lol...i'll post the good hands in my blog for all to laugh at lol.

I think the QQ hand is actually a really standard fold and it would be non-standard to stack off. So if you are making that mistake in your game amp just fixed you a decent leak

Dnno villians are getting it in so bad at $7 level and its only really standard in that particular spot.

January review :

Played well at 45s - won some $$$, lost $ at every other game. Played drunk near end of month - end result (profit is not so great - but ok given that I only started playing on 18th on month). Don't really want to post a graph, lets just say i ended up around +$600ish.

This month I think I'm going to try to make platinumstar which is actually kind of hard given the games I'm playing and the fact I'm only 12 tabling but if I make it then I have defo but volume in. BUT i'm only going to 12 table and only going to play when I feel like playing - no playing just for volume - since I've found when i "volumegrind" for want of a better word, my ROI drops drastically.

I've kind of made the change to playing in the day, but nearing end of month i got lazy playing sessions across like all times of day and the games at peak times are deffo a lot worse and given I only want 12 tables up it makes a lot more sense to play in the day. So this month I really am going to make the effort to play 9am-5pm. I was playing like 3/4 small sessions a day but it just adds a lot of 'downtime' so I'm going to just force myself to play those like 8 hours constantly and make sure then I just don't play any poker outside of those times.

Still not heard from uni about my course transfer X( is kinda annoying because if I can I have quite a few things I need to sort out (most of which need to be done by end of this month so hopefully get an answer soon)

Here's hoping that february is a good month for me and for you all. Hope to get at least a 2k$ profit this month - but we'll see.

Decided I am going to resurrect this blog.

I have been playing poker for last 3 months but I have gone like nowhere in terms of bankroll - been quite a lot of spending irl on mainly alcohol and table games and also been playing out of BRM so I'm sitting on like $1.7k - I maybe had 2k at start of february idk.

I decided that although I came away from MTTs - they are where I want to be and so now I'm more motivated than ever to get there - especially since in september I will start at university again and so won't have the time to grind my way there so I want to be playing them before then.

I've played a ton of games over the last 2 months in terms of variants - mostly just quitting them when I hit a downer which is so so so so bad to do. So to get to my goal of $5k (i don't want to play MTTs before then cos I don't think it is that profitable) I am just going to grind it out at cash games - since I think the downers are a little easier to ride at cash since they are smaller imo.

I'm going to try to post as little results oriented/graph posts as possible so tbh there probably won't be much to write about in here - my life other than poker atm is pretty much just going out clubbing and drinking and I can never remember much the next day to write about that.

So yeah this is like the foreword to my upcoming MTT shipaments where I will be balling out of control by the end of the year and have a room like this :

Glad to see you're still alive mate! Will be following.

Why not grind the 45s again and teach me how to beat them. :f_biggrin:
