Losing money due to bad beats/suckouts

Hey guys, thanks for the feedback. ♦ Alright, I will read up more on the strategy articles, but I gotta say I'm more of the type who learn better hands-on than reading up on the theory, which is why I prefer to get my hands dirty and go through my play after a session.

I guessed he had something when he took the initiative to bet on the river, but the pot was so big already and I had TPTK...

Last hand seems fine to me. As you said pot is already big enough to justify a call, you can't fold there. I haven't read the whole thread, but bad beats/suckouts is something that you can't do something about it. Try not to focus on the bad beats. Just try to find your leaks and improve your game. If you play better than your oppenents eventually you'll start winning on the long run.
