hi novice player here just been getting to grips with basics last few weeks and starting to play with virtual money and starting capital but lovin all of it right now ![]()
motivation for playing poker - I want to challenge myself in something different and set a series of goals to achieve my aim: ultimately I want to be able to have the ability to win money playing, but I also want to develop my mathmatical/analytical skills and just generally become an all round better human being!! ♠_biggrin:
weaknesses - Ive hardly played any hands yet but I'm getting tighter pre-flop, though with maybe a tendency to want to see too many flops in EP with suited or low pairs - post flop there are still too many decisions for me im reading board cards better but reading opponents' play is still quite blury! Im not factoring in pot odds much among other things ![]()
tight aggressive play - is when a player shapes the action rather than being shoved into difficult positions they can pressure their opponent to force them to make bad decisions which they can profit from. They know which hands to select and how to get maximum value from them and they know which hands to fold at any time to minimise losses - it that more or less it?!
