You realise we're talking about people who got famous by playing poker, not movie stars and billioners that showed up on HSP once or twice and spewed off a couple 100k's.
Op's question did not state the person had to be famous specificly for playing poker, simply 'poker player' and 'most famous'. That said, my first three nominations are all professional poker players, and Matt Damon has by most accounts won a tone of money playing high stakes home games.
If you want to get really specific, Barack Obama is currently the most famous man in the world, and by his own admission, is a poker player.
