Didn't donk the flop, so I'm making small progress :f_biggrin:

However, I couldn't resist betting turn. Maybe I had the best hand, maybe I could represent Kx. Getting raised on the other hand was weird though, so I thought i was up againt KJ+ type of hand here (not KK obv).

Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

Play hand

$0.05/$0.1 Fixed-Limit Hold'em (10 handed)

Preflop: Hero is UTG2 with T:h, T:s.
UTG posts deadblind, UTG checks, UTG1 folds, Hero raises, 2 folds, MP3 calls, CO folds, BU 3-Bets, 2 folds, UTG calls, Hero calls, MP3 calls.

Flop: (13.4 SB) 2:s, 6:d, J:h (4 players)
UTG checks, Hero checks, MP3 checks, BU checks.

Turn: (6.7 BB) K:s (4 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets, MP3 folds, BU raises, UTG folds, Hero folds, BU gets uncalled bet back.

Final Pot: 7.7 BB.

When your playing Heads Up or 3way donking is bad play and msot of a time check/raise is much better option. However you are here playing 4way and beacuse of that donking here is a must. Not everyone will be betting in 3 persons with hand such like AQ/AK/AJ and will take checkbehind for free card. Thats why we have in so many players donk here for protection.

As played Turn is a nasty card but he still may raise you with such hands like A :spade:Q :spade: or A :spade:J :spade: and without i wouldnt throw here my TT beacuse its too strong hand.

Tbh, i never considered a check/raise. More likely check/fold.

I'm somewhat confused - after donking and calls, what would you have done on the turn?

My play is affected by the fact that I get kinda confused with 99, TT hands if these are not the top pair.

You need to watch out how your oponents play, how they react in such multiway pots and what type of hand they are likely to went to showdown.

Its helps you to make decision if they calling down some good Acehighs like AK/AQ or every pocket pair like 55 or even that 2 on that board.

If I have noticed and i have good believ to bet that my oponent is weakish loose-passive player who its quite lunatic in what happening preflop and postflop and going down with his madehands, or even vs weak oponent who just dont throw away they mediocre hands i would play bet bet bet vs every 2x, 6x pocket pairs 33-99 , AQ,AJ.

I only reevaluate when they raise me and who raises me. If they are all too passive (you gived us no information on oponents) then on this K im going to throw my TT if there goes raise + coldcall by somebody.

But if im heads up and i got raise here by unknow i would play bet/colddown and call every non A and :spade: River.

If there would be no raise i would play on every no A and :spade: check/call trying to induce a bluff.

I didn't have notes on him. I do try to take notes and tag people, but there's lots of players and most are unknown.

When you play 1-2 Tables Full Ring you have plenty of time to watch your oponents actions, review hand history replayer from software for taging players and making notes.

Personaly im able to do it when i play 4-6 Tables and it's take focus from you.
But more importantly, doing notes and reviewing villains actions takes focus from you, it makes you stayed focused on game and what to do , it helps in playing to stay focused and taking notes.

I would 4-bet preflop against 3 opponents. You only need to win more than your share (25%) to cap for value and you will have more than 25% equity here.

On the flop, typically we don't like to bet when someone else has the intiative but we are four ways. Players don't tend to bet the flop quite as often. This is a good board for our hand too. There's just one overcard so if no one has hit the J we're ahead quite often. In this situation I like a bet on the flop.

On the turn I like your bet. The K is quite bad but the pot is large and we're ahead of quite a few hands. Against the raise we have a tough decision. Our opponents line looks like AK/KQ or a slowplay, and unless he's very spazy and aggressive we won't often see a draw.

Folding here is a reasonable option against opponents who have not shown themselves to be a maniac.

people at these limits have this weird line of 3betting/capping and then checking the flop when they hit strong ! like set or two pair. but yeah cap preflop

I would cap as well Preflop and i really like donking out on the Flop because as already said: BU is likely to check his ui Ax type of hands against 3 players and certainly he does not raise many worse hands on the Flop but hmm... he could raise with 77 88 99 so i don't think that if he raises, we can check/fold the Turn but depending on the Cards and remaining opponents call the Turn again and reevaluate on the River.

You're at the beginning of your LHE Career and you'll be getting an idea of how to play pocketpairs not being toppair. Let's take this hand: The Jack is the best broadwaycard of all the broadways because: The higher the broadway card is, the higher the chance that the preflop 3better has hit toppair. The only plausible Jx hand he could have is KJs and AJ and JJ+ has got you crushed but against ATs AQ AK 77 88 99 you 're ahead and the remaining opponents frequently don't have a better hand than midpair => You're very likely to be ahead on average / you have more than averagy Equity => Bet for Value.

On the Turn i agree to what datsmanahme mentioned. It really looks like AK KQ. Raise AQ would be very weird, especially since you've shown to have something with your donkbet into 3 players. I don't mind folding there.

You said you intended to check/fold. That's a bad mistake. If you check => Checkraise The Preflopaggressor when he makes his continuation bet. You can isolate him, getting heads-up with him and kick out the other 2 remaining opponent who may still have around 7 Outs against you.
