i lost 60% of my roll playing tourneys and cash games at NL16 & NL25

its just amazing, i cant seem to win.... playing NL10 now as i dont want to lose all!

will i get back? TELL ME GOD, Y R U PUNISHING ME? WHY SO SERIOUS?

Biggest problem I have with downswing is how poker is no fun for me. Just frustration. Can't help you with a % as I tend to be just a break-even player. Things will work out how they should for a session or two and then the pain comes and takes it all away and a little more. Then I build it up. Then it takes it. And on and on.

Things seem to be going really bad for you, I empathise so forgive me for trying to learn from your misery :-). Why do you keep playing. Are you finding poker fun in any way? What stops you from doing what I do; play 4-5 SnGs bust out of every one when getting it in with far the best of it and then shout "fuck poker" and not play again for a week? Why do you go back for more punishment?

Does poker have times of generosity for you where you "run like a god" that makes all the BS worth it all. To see the limits you've dropped and losing half your roll, you must be getting a battering that makes me think you like the pain. I just been playing for 2 hours and have been so traumatised that the thought of playing again in the next week or two makes my teeth grind. And I wasn't even playing at limits that I give a shit about.

i keep playing because i wanna get it all back. i dont find it fun when im losing, NOT ONE BIT. i play for like 2 months and never made a break more than 12h (while im sleeping). when i get frustrated i just quit for 1-2h then come back. i usualy watch some movie, take a shower, eat etc. then i come back, motivated, and get demotivated after 1hour... then i dont know what to do, how do i get back my money, am i so bad or im running bad? what is going on? i wanna be a winning play not losing, not breakeven. i then open HU sng or something, play 5 of them then quit, boring, then i watch some videos about poker, read pokerstartegy and get back. same story for like 10 days, even more... started with 200$ 2 months ago, got it to 1k+ and after that i lost too much, went down to 450 at one point. currently 550$

i just think this is one long bad run period, i think ill get it back, but im not sure. i am not sure because for more than 10 days i had a losing day. i dont wanna whine that im unlucky because i made too much mistakes too. when im runing bad i start playing bad. but i get so angry when im trying to do my best and try to do as little mistakes as possible + running good. but that stops so quick. you lose so easy and so hard to earn

so many bad players on NL25, NL16, especially at NL10. i then think, ok, they are so bad lets get their money, and i lose lol . then i tell to myself: "am i that bad? they are so bad, am i worse? what do i need to do?" then i get back and try something different, obv that goes even worse. after that i stop and think: "should i hire some coach? i definietely need to because my game sux. but my bankroll is too small to listen some guy and give him 50$ for 1hour. no definietely not gonna hire anyone yet"

most of my profit came from tournaments, i had about -200$ on cash games and played hard and got it on +100... now i dont even wanna see. probably -200/250.

that my story bro

learning when to quit is a great skill. you have to find your own "stop-loss" points...

for me it's usually not in terms of buy-ins lost but rather some random bad decisions that set in that WTF feeling.
it's like "ZOMG dafuq was that?" and then suddenly i just can't focus and play well anymore :f_biggrin:
i think i just saved that many BBs as i got better at recognizing and taking a break when that happens.
