Top and bottom pair against a postflop agressive player

I think that preflop is very marginal, I would definitely muck it... However, if you know how to play well IP, you can probably play it.

It's a pretty dry flop and you can expect him to bet his whole range here more or less.

By calling flop, he knows that you don't have a set or top two pair as you would have most likely raised him with a hand like that. So you pretty much have a draw, Kxxx or maybe a hand like 5678, it's unlikely that you will float with a completely trashy hand on this flop.

Now, on the turn, it's pretty interesting. He bets 90% of the pot, which I think is not a pure bluff often, especially since the main draw completes. I don't think he would bluff bet this high, it makes way more sense that he has a decent made hand and that he doesn't want you to see a cheap river in case you've picked up a flush draw on the turn.

Therefore, I would most likely fold on the turn. Since the river blanks and he bets almost full pot, I think you're most likely beat here - there aren't all that many hands that you call his big turn bet with. Of course, this could always be a pure bluff, but I think that he doesn't have to bet that much on the turn or river to make you fold, so it's unlikely.

The issue here is that he could have air in all the hand, he cbets flop that is not so wet, and his size in the turn could be done with air too, most of the players that barrels a lot, bet big with most of his range, (and usually bet or raise smaller when they have the nuts or something really strong). I could be wrong interpreting this bet sizes, but is what I have seen in this type of players.

So in the turn he could have AA, 2 pair, any set, any draw like TJQ (may be with a pair) or 789T, 79TJ, 8TJ... cbet flop with almost air and barrel turn with a flush draw (probably with a pair)... I don't know... a lot of things, I don't like how I played it lol.

Outside straight draw and 2 pair, pretty good flop, I wouldn't blame you for raising here.

On the turn even against the nuts we have too much equity with straight draw, full house draw and flush draw.
