Hello there!

In the last few months I neglected my poker career. I was just entering tables, playing lots of them and never learnt anything from my stupid game. So, after doing a quick analysis I knew that I had to do something fast to improve my game and not loosing any more time from my life doing nothing regarding poker.

This is how I see myself at the tables:

I will play on two different poker platforms:

 888poker
 WPTpoker

My goal is to be a winning player on NL50 FR on 888poker and NL25 FR on WPTpoker in 2 months.

888poker STEPS:
:diamond: Starting bankroll 50 BuyIns for NL20 FR (1000$)
:diamond: Playing only NL20 FR (as many tables as possible - max 8 anyway :f_biggrin: )
:diamond: Aquireing at least 30.000 hands/month

WPTpoker STEPS:
:club: Starting bankroll 45 BuyIns for NL10 FR (450$)
:club: Playing only NL10 FR (maximum 12 tables at a time)
:club: Playing 30.000 hands/month minimum

General:
 Hands review once a week (didn't decide on the day yet)
 Whatching at least one video/week
 Attending at least 1 coaching session/ week
 After the first month (July) I will see what has to be done for the near future (shots, going up in limits, playing another week on the same limit etc)

Hope that after two months I will look at least like this:

I wish you all good luck!
Have fun at the tables! _cool:

Since I opened this blog I played only on WPT. Until now I had a good run, but still have lots of weak points that I have to improve. Here is how it went so far:

I updated the first post regarding my bankroll on WPT.
Anyway, I will start playing on 888 NL20 FR soon, and hopefully I will run good there too.

The most beautifull hand from today:

Party, $0.05/$0.10 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 7 Players

MP1: $3.85 (38.5 bb)
Hero (CO): $10 (100 bb)
MP2: $3.36 (33.6 bb)
BB: $10 (100 bb)
BTN: $2.85 (28.5 bb)
SB: $13.45 (134.5 bb)
MP3: $6.75 (67.5 bb)

Preflop: Hero is CO with J T
3 folds, Hero raises to $0.30, BTN folds, SB raises to $0.60, BB folds, Hero raises to $1.60, SB calls $1

Flop: ($3.30) 2 5 4 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $1.70, SB calls $1.70

Turn: ($6.70) T (2 players)
SB bets $3.18, Hero raises to $6.70 and is all-in, SB calls $3.52

River: ($20.10) 7 (2 players, 1 is all-in)

Results:

Spoiler

$20.10 pot ($1 rake)
Final Board: 2 5 4 T 7
Hero showed J T and won $19.10 ($9.10 net)
SB showed K 4 and lost (-$10 net)

The oponent is a fish in my opinion. He plays:
PFR/VPIP/3BET
28/18/15,6

My first intention was to turn my hand into a pure bluff preflop and on flop, and reevaluate on the turn. When I hit top pair on turn, was an easy shove for me. :f_biggrin:

Good luck! :f_cool:

Yurao

Hello!

I haven't played that much in the last 2 days, but decided to make another update:

Still didn't managed to improve my game. Non showdown is to high. I have to be a little bit more agressive, cbet at least more 10% on every street and on river with at least 20% more. I want to improve my 3bet, and take it to 4,5% minimum. I should steal a little bit more from CO, 40% would be better in my opinion.

Didn't managed to play on 888poker yet, but starting tomorrow I will play there also.
Here is an interesting hand played today:

Party, $0.05/$0.10 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 9 Players

UTG+1: $4.16 (41.6 bb)
Hero (MP2): $20.70 (207 bb)
CO: $3.29 (32.9 bb)
UTG+2: $10 (100 bb)
MP1: $3 (30 bb)
BB: $4.80 (48 bb)
SB: $17.54 (175.4 bb)
MP3: $23.61 (236.1 bb)
BTN: $6.75 (67.5 bb)

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with 4 4
UTG+1 raises to $0.30, 2 folds, Hero calls $0.30, 3 folds, SB raises to $0.50, BB folds, UTG+1 calls $0.20, Hero calls $0.20

Flop: ($1.60) T Q 3 (3 players)
SB checks, UTG+1 checks, Hero checks

Turn: ($1.60) 4 (3 players)
SB checks, UTG+1 checks, Hero bets $1.14, SB calls $1.14, UTG+1 folds

River: ($3.88) J (2 players)
SB bets $9.90, Hero folds

Results:

Spoiler

$3.88 pot ($0.19 rake)
Final Board: T Q 3 4 J
Hero mucked 4 4 and lost (-$1.64 net)
SB mucked and won $3.69 ($2.05 net)

I don't think that he bluffed me here. All that I could think of is slow played flush or an AK. It was hard to fold here, but I think it is the best option in this spot.

If you have any suggestions, don't hesitate to write it down. :)

Good luck all! _cool:

A bit late, but...that JT hand seems really, really bad.

You 4-bet it pre-flop. JTo! You should have just folded to his 3-bet, even though it was small.

Flop is fine. C-bets are good.

Turn: You went all-in with TPGK. Did you have a really strong read on this guy?

Even with a read on this guy, 4-betting JTo seems really risky, even if he's 3-betting all his hands. And if he's a calling station postflop, why'd you bet the flop at all?

Just seems to make absolutely no sense imo.

I don't see any reason to fold preflop my J10o against that player. I don't like calling either even if I'm in position. I prefer to 4bet here as a bluff mostly and fold to a 5bet.

I cbet the flop with the intention to win the pot here. When I got called here I was definitly going to give up on turn but the 10 came up and hit top pair and decent kicker.

The donk on the turn was a little bit weird but couldn't let go my hand against this opponent with top pair and decent kicker.

I don't say I played it well all the way but preflop and on flop is pretty standard in my opinion.

Good luck!

Hello again!

I played my first sesion on NL20 FR this month on 888poker. It was a realy short one. Didn't played as good as intended (actualy I played prety bad). The result of the sesion was a good one but my game was the worst from the laste 10 days since I played poker.

One of the uglyest spots from today was this:

Pacific, $0.10/$0.20 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 8 Players

Hero (MP2): $37.13 (185.7 bb)
MP3: $21.88 (109.4 bb)
CO: $9.43 (47.2 bb)
BTN: $15.11 (75.6 bb)
SB: $21.84 (109.2 bb)
BB: $14.92 (74.6 bb)
UTG+2: $15.38 (76.9 bb)
MP1: $19.17 (95.9 bb)

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with 9 9
2 folds, Hero raises to $0.60, 4 folds, BB calls $0.40

Flop: ($1.30) 6 6 5 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $0.85, BB calls $0.85

Turn: ($3) 8 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $1.70, BB calls $1.70

River: ($6.40) 6 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $3.20, BB raises to $11.77 and is all-in, Hero calls $8.57

Results:

Spoiler

$29.94 pot ($1.49 rake)
Final Board: 6 6 5 8 6
Hero showed 9 9 and lost (-$14.92 net)
BB showed A A and won $28.45 ($13.53 net)

I thought about checking back on the river, but I said, WTF he can still have pocket 77, a 5 or an 8.... rarely a 6. I was prety amased of what he showed me at the end. I had no history with that opponent.

What would you have done on the river?!

Good luck! :f_biggrin:

I think river is bet/fold.. Of course it's all depends on the villain. If he's fish I don't mind going broke here. But if he's decent player just bet/fold.

Cbet larger on the flop, turn and shove river. Villain is clearly a fish because of the stack and with a small bet on the river u just miss value from him.

If it's vs a fish, why cbetting? Villain never folds Ax hands overcards, any pair, any draw.

Lol that's why because we want value from the fish, we have an overpair which is better than Ax, draws, smaller pairs. We can't really put him monsters if he's unknown.

he was playing 80/0 VPIP/PFR but I had only 10 hands with him... not much to tell, just that he is most likely a big fish.

hello!

Today went horrible at the poker tables on WPTpoker. My aces were always beat on the uglyest boards posible, my KK got broke against AA, other big pocket pairs like QQ and JJ got smashed by random cards, coinflips lost every time and so on. :f_cry:

Here is the grapf:

I will definitly take a break from poker today because I don't see any point of continuing playing today. :f_mad:

Have a nice day!
Good luck!
