SB is tight and passive, BB is calling station

Known players:
[tg]BB$12.65:///////;Hero$7.25:///////;[/tg]
0.05/0.1 No-Limit Hold'em (10 handed)
Hand recorder used for this poker hand: PokerStrategy Elephant 0.46 by www.pokerstrategy.com.

Preflop: Hero is BU with A♣, 2♥
7 folds, Hero raises to $0.40, SB folds, BB calls $0.30.

Flop: ($0.85) 4♠, J♦, A♥ (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $0.60, BB calls $0.60.

Turn: ($2.05) K♥ (2 players)
BB checks, Hero checks.

Since villain is calling station, I did not want to second barel and build the pot
River: ($2.05) 7♥ (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $1.00, BB calls $1.00.

Is it better to check here? Since is typical calling station he might call me with any lower pair as well.
Final Pot: $4.05

After the hand I actually realized that A2 is not a very good hand vs calling station type villain :/

P.S. Villain had a monster already on flop, and he never bothered to bet and didn't reraise my river bet :P

If BB is calling station then I would also bet the river, since he might call with J.
