Hi,

On this hand I raise on the button, then I fold against a 3bet and a cap.

Party, $0.15/$0.30 Limit Hold'em Cash, 5 Players

Preflop: Hero is BTN with 9 A
2 folds, Hero raises, SB 3-bets, BB caps, Hero folds, SB calls

But after I decided to analyze this on the equilator

SB 30/14/6.8/580
BB 40/8/18.2/72

So I used a 10% for both SB and BB ranges and I have just enough to call I
because I need 1 bet on a 5 bet pot (if SB calls), so I need a 20% equity.

Equity Ganar Empate
MP2 20.91% 19.40% 1.50% Ah9s
MP3 39.54% 37.58% 1.96% 77+, A9s+, KTs+, QTs+, AJo+, KQo
CO 39.55% 37.60% 1.95% 77+, A9s+, KTs+, QTs+, AJo+, KQo

am I ok???

You should count your original 2bb(when open raise) as a dead money, so you have to put 2bb into 12bb pot

2/12 *100% = ~17%

This is a no-brainer call for any hand that you decide to open raise.

Lol-example:

ProPokerTools Hold'em Simulation
600,000 trials (Randomized)

Hand |Pot equity |Wins |Ties
76|18.90% |112,896|1,601
QQ+|29.81% |161,211|35,827
KK+|51.29% |290,066|35,827

I like the fold actually. I've never had anyone provide convincing evidence that we shouldn't fold to 2 bets with hands that we open raise. In lots of spots I think it goes without saying, particularly when we have a hand with low playability.

When we improve we often cannot put in a lot of action and aren't comfortable if they do. They won't usually spew off a lot when we improve to the best hand. The SB might raise wide, but the BB probably won't.

Even if we have 17% equity preflop that only would allow us to call all-in. The hands not over and its very likely to go to showdown. We'll need to invest more to see this through and when we improve our investments in the pot are very rarely a sure deal.

I would fold as well. Your EQ sucks. You're too often dominated. If you flop something, someone got an overpair and in case you flop an ace, you are dominated by higher kicker so just fold. But A9s call. ATo is a fold as well!
