somebody advised me to post hands in the english forum instead of the dutch forum for better replies, so here it is:

Pre Flop: ($0.65) Hero is SB with K :club: K :diamond:
2 folds, CO raises to $0.75, BTN calls $0.75, Hero raises to $3.75, BB raises to $11.50, 2 folds, Hero calls $7.75

Flop: ($24.80) Q :heart: 6 :diamond: 8 :spade: (2 players)
Hero checks, BB checks

Turn: ($24.80) 3 :diamond: (2 players)
Hero bets $14.50, BB calls $14.50

River: ($53.80) A :heart: (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets $36.45 all in...

I felt this was a typical spot where villain would be FOS preflop... 4bet size really big for value IMO... so I decide to flat... no real history, but the guy played 30/19..

Welcome to the English NL Hand Evaluation Forum! Hopefully we will see more hands from you in the future. I hope that with our help you can improve your play and as well move up the limits. We will be waiting for the next hands and till that good luck on tables!

Preflop: 3bet/Call in that spot should be totally fine if we are rather against unknown. You also facing a 4bet which is rather strong and nor we can't be sure if he ever continues with a lot worse vs our 5bet.
Postflop: Although I don't like Betting the turn either, rather just Check it and Bet the river for value, I doubt that we are getting 2 streets of value from him. Only if he has something like Qx but he could still have even traps there.

And of course we are folding the river, doubt that we have much beat there than just pure bluff.

It's not abut what he came up, it's about if you even ever assumed him to have such a hand. I assumed his range being full of Ax hands for example. :)
