PLO25 donk betting

I raise again on the Turn to like $5.5 as it looks weak and gives me complete information of what he has. If he calls, he has a draw, if he 3bets he has an eight. if he folds you win money & basically has nothing -> you can exploit him

any prior history with him? was he a high VPIPer?

on the flop I might elect to call, see a turn and see how he reacts rather than raise because although i've seen this small donk a lot with a draw, i tend to see more like 0.25 or 0.50 donks with those draws that bet/fold... when he goes to 0.75, i think he's got something decent, maybe draw + 2 pair or set.

on turn you can re-evaluate or maybe even set over set him and get your money in pretty good. i think raising flop is pretty high variance

And I prefer raising to calling because I don't want them to have the correct odds to draw to their flush, which is what they're usually trying to achieve with their small block donkbet.

I like a call on this flop because your equity isn't that great against a draw and you do only have 2 outs to the nuts, plus there are a ton of turn cards where you have to fold if villain donks. Use your position to see what develops on the turn and keep the SPR high to make villain's turn bet a tough one to make.
