So I've been gone for about six weeks. Other than the quad 8's fold in the One Drop event, anything interesting going on? Anyone have any brags or fun stories to share?

Guided Study Group Opportunity
I want to run a test of some of the ideas I've been thinking about in August. It will run from July 30th to August 27th (so four weeks). During that time:
* You will need to play at least 5,000 hands per week at a specific limit (100NL or below) of 6-max or FR NLHE.
* You will share selected hands from your database and need to post your results.
* You will participate in forum discussions.
* You will sweat and be sweated by other participants.
If you can do all of those things during that time period (July 30th - August 27th) and want to apply, please send me a PM with the following:
* A graph of your results for 2012.
* Detail results by stakes includes your VPIP/PFR/3-bet/Fold to 3-bet, etc.
* A graph of your last 2 months of play.
* What country you're from.
* What site you play on.
* What forum/site do you spend the most of your time posting on (CardRunners, TwoPlusTwo, PokerStrategy, Reddit, etc).
* Your poker goals.
* Anything else for me to consider when reviewing your application.

I do have one question. What do participants get beside giving all of our data and stats?
what does "guided" mean exactly? in which ways will you be guiding?
that said i am interested, will probably fire up an application sometime before i sleep.

You don't share all your data and stats - just enough for me to get a sense of your game right now. If selected, during the project, you get feedback on your game from me and others and hopefully come away a better player.
The main point is also for you to develop deeper insight into your own game.

"Guided" just means that I will personally oversee the progress of everyone that is involved in those four weeks.
I'm definitely interested in this. I have really been wanting a "mentor" or a group of buddies who review their hands together.
I will post an application later but most of my info is already in my blog below.
I have been played NL10 ZOOM FR for the last month or so and before that played NL2 and 5 for about 3 months.

My initial draft was done with Power Point though ... the guy who laid out the book re-did the illustrations using Illustrator though. Not sure how much of a difference it made.

Jb are you refering to figures in chapter 9? I bought Adobe version and there I couldn't find any picrures but this ilustrations. It is all black and white also.
Is hard copy edition different Verneer?
