I couldn't 4bet as value so called for set mine.
On flop, should I have check/raise?
On turn, I think easy shove..

Hey,

If you want to setmine, you have to assume that Villain stacks off on any board that gives you a set. This mostly means that Villain has to have a made hand as well.

Given the fact that his range can/could be JJ+,AK - he is going to miss often with AK so he will bet/fold unless the board is KJx, AJx. Even then he has equity.

I think with our stacks, it is really mediocre to set mine if not impossible from a mathematical point of view. Therefore I either 4bet or just fold

Since it is MP3 vs BTN, I just shove because if we are BTN (positions reversed) then we can 3bet wider than JJ+,AK because MP3 should open relatively lighter

As played I would check/shove the Flop because you get calls from the weirdest hands including sometimes 99-TT while they give up when you check/call
