Zemammuth back into action, grinding hu hypers 60/100's

Monthly Update:

Right guys, it looks like I am done grinding for the year. I am here in Cyprus atm for christmas with family and net is absolutely shit and keeps dieing so I am no longer able to grind till i am back home on 9th of jan. (Net cost me 900 dollars worth of disconnections last 4 days)

I feel like I am playing pretty well and I am up 4k for the month...was 6 but currently on a 2k downswing due 2 a mixture of runbad and constant net disconnections, so I am unable 2 play for the month anymore.

pld about 60 hoursf for the month so monetary wise its ok in comparison to volume

It pisses me off that I gotta stop grinding now cause I am 20k vpp away from supernova and I know I can get it in the next 5 days if i grind 6 hours per day...but it cant be done because the net keeps deing in this shit hole and it has cost me 15 bi in last 3 days..so I deff gotta wait till I go back home...

So this means I am done grinding for the month

Overall I can't complain obviously...Winning the dng twice in a row was the main income...But at the same time looking back...I don't know what the hell happened....I barely put any volume this year..I must of pld like 600 hours max, which is stupid since I always have poker on my mind...But towards the last 1 month i've realised I had bills 2 pay and stuff so I realise I have 2 grind and my mindset has improved dramatically.

I am now beating the hu hypers after 6k sample and my game really improved last 3-4k games, so I am looking forwards 2 crushing the games next year.

Overall, good year since when I started I had absolutely no money and now I am adequate financially

I feel I am ready for 2012 and I am gna shock the poker world and become one of the top hu sng guys by end of next year.

I am back in the uk and ready to start 2012. I am starting this year with high expectations. Here are my current goals:

- Reach Super Nova elite: In order to do this gotta rake 160k dollars, it is equivalent to 100k in rake back alone and it will take me around 3 hours of play a day if everything goes OK and I will get it in around 9 months, however I will try play a lot more than 3 hours a day and hopefully I can get it and the 100k a lot sooner.

-Currently have 3k in Stars and don't really fancy depositing more 2 play the 60's comfortably so what I will do is grind the 30's till i turn my roll into 9k, so that way I will have 200bi steady for 30's and will take a 50 bi shot at 60's even though i was doing well on sixties already I wanna do it this way since I've been out of the game for a while.

-I would like to reach the 300's hu hyper by end of the year. I know this one is super obtainable since its only 3 levels higher than what I am already playing, but getting here would be amazing since I would rake like 30k+ a month on this limit with 65 percent rake back, couldn't really ask for much more.

-Those are my poker related goals for 2012, I have other goals such as going to the gym 3x week, attending and doing well at uni, and learning to trade the foreign exchange.

hey, I'm playing 30s HT on Stars as well. My BR is close to 4K, i think I want to have at least 6K in order to move up to 60s.

Anyways, good luck with your goal, although I think it is close to impossible to reach SNE playing HU SnG's especially if you are not playing high stakes yet

on 60's i 3 table and rake 100 dollars on hour, so its obtainable on 60's with a lot of hard work, on 100's with mod hard work and on 200's pretty easily.

(My roll is not really 3k) it's a lot bigger, I just dont fancy depositing and wanna ease into it again for 2 weeks b4 going back on 60's

well, lets say you would only play 100s. The rake is 1,88/game. Therefore you would have to play 160000/1,88= over 85 000games, thats almost 240/day. Even if you 2-table/3-table, it would be pretty hard to accomplish. If you make it, you're my hero.

My roll is bigger as well , though not by much like yours ♦ I'm hoping to get to 100s/200s pretty safely by the end of the year. However my multitabling skills are still not good enough, therefore I can't put in as much volume.

Btw: you play full time or do you study (work?) as well?

I can play 240 a day no problems on 100's, but i expect to move up to 200's in like 3 months anyway so I am sure I will be fine ♦

Quickupate:

This month started pretty bad for a few reasons:

1- Volume: Played only 20 hours partly cause I came back from Cyprus on the 10th, and 2ndly cause i've been 2 busy partying and stuff since its the first month of coming back from christmas, so this is gna change big time, I will be playing 100-150 hours a month from next month.

2- Run shit - I am like 100 bi below ev in 20 hours of play, literally.

Positives-
1 - I can now 4 table no problem and I average 80 games an hour which is quite good, i am blessed with being able to multi task and still win so its good.

2- I am crushing ev line so if I just keep it up I should be printing $$$

Will play like 15-20 more hours next 4 days so will have double sample lol hopefully I run 100 bi above ev now 2 be ♦

Will update end of month results will be interesting

hey, i played you a few times if you remember. I don't know what hands you have been getting but over those 8 matches you played against me, you have over 40% 3bet vs me. I think you are little too agressive in certain spots, I have some notes on you. There were some interesting hands I remember.

Well, hope your luck turns around I have been running pretty good this month. Made 5K already but running 60+ BI above EV and my volume sucks. I'm mostly 1-2 tabling. I really can't do more than 2

Hypers Update:

I think its time I give an overview of my hyper experience so far.

I have put in almost exactly 11k games in the hypers so far from stakes ranging 30-100 mostly, avg stake around 50 dollars, and I gotta say its been a very very long ride. My roi is exactly 0 after the 11k games and i mean to be honest getting 0 roi on 60's isnt bad considering i am 4 tabling and raking 100 an hour.

I am not sure what to think ev wise, I know my first 5k games I was 170 bi below ev on hem 1, and now hem 2 is showing me another 150 bi below ev in last 5k games also, but people are debating its accuracy so I am unsure what to trust or not. But overall I am deff well behind ev and I should of made around 17k profit in these 11k games I pld...But doesntm atter

Overall I think I should be satisfied being 300 bi below ev and still in profit so thats good I think, like I must be up 2-3k from rakeback.

To be perfectly honest, i've been very lazy and have not been playing like a pro. Yes I am running very bad for a while now, but thats no excuse to not put in volume and to neglect poker.

-Changes I will make:

-Start waking up early on a scheduled time. : I've been waking up like 6 in the afternoon and been finding it very hard to find time in the day to do anything...I am at uni so I always end up doing stupid stuff. This change should be dramatic because overall I will be able 2 actually start going uni, start grinding properly, go gym and overall live a happy and healthy life.

-Stop smoking # every day: I feel as this is one of the biggest things I have and will change from today because its been making me very lazy and also I am sure it has killed far too many brain cells of mine, been doing it every day for last 5 months now and I think it's time to be a pro and stop being stupid.

Those are the two main changes I must make at the moment in order to succeed and I start from today. My life the last 6 months has been me being lazy, not going to uni like I should, not playing poker and just smoking # and shit, so time to stop 4 sure and be a pro.

MY PLAN:

Overall I think I have a lot of potential with hypers, since I should be up 20k basically in last 10k games, which is really 125 hours of play / 1 month when I 4 table. So I say I will give it another shot and put in 10k more games and see from there.

Even though I was 4 tabling comfortably, I still feel I will drop down to 2 tables for abit and watch every vid and study my play for a while untill I get in a nice little upswing then start increasing again.

Time to go pro and stop being a ho
