Hello everyone! I know everyone's got a blog, and I thought it'd be a pretty good idea to monitor my progress and be able to look back (hopefully) on how far I've gotten! So a little about me. I'm 18, originally from America. But I moved to Belgium 6 years ago, because of my dad's job, and am now a Belgian citizen. I graduated from high school in last June, and my family moved back home to America. I stayed to have a gap year to perfect my french. But its my gap year, so not much studying, alot of time for partying and poker! So heres my poker background, I made a playmoney account about last april, and played quite alot just for fun! I watched a video on youtube about poker, i can't remember exactly what it was, but at the end, it had a link for now im guessing a refer a friend. I looked at the site and decided it was too good to be true, some kind of scam! So Then come october at university my "circle" like a fraternity in America, was hosting a poker tournament and i met a guy who told me about pokerstrategy. He'd registered and made about 60-70k in the last half a year or so from his starting capital. I got home and was signed up within 15 minutes &diams;. I started playing SSS on pokerroom.com which was hard because i have a mac so had to play in the browser. I quickly got to around $140, and had a long breakeven period on NL20. I got bored and figured it didnt work on NL20, although after reading blogs and such, it appears this happens quite a bit, but after the huge upswing when i started, this was hard, so i played Double or Nothing Sit and Go's mostly break even, but earned FPP's faster so I could just clear the deposit bonus and i cashed out and moved to pokerstars. About a week into it, after post exam partying some friends were sleeping at my kot. We were watching a movie and I said a friend could play poker for play money. The next morning i woke up (with quite alot of difficulty) to find the $22 that remained in my BR. He doesn't remember it, and I don't have hand histories auto save to my computer, but he somehow blew around.. 80-90$ that remained my BR. Done and over. So, instead of the NL5 SH I had planned on starting to play after finishing the articles I played a little NL2, but couldn't stand the competition down there, even though i still won, was confident enough about my play that I thought I could play NL5, so i decided to get my BR back up by playing the $1 SnG's after a coaching from Flo. I've had a good start so far. I've played 55, with 13 1sts, 6 2nds, 4 3rds and 32 busts, with a profit of $15.90. Bringing my current Bankroll to $37.28. MY Goals 1) Get to $150 Playing Sit and Go's -In progress $37.28 2) Grind NL5 SH until I get to $300 3) Grind NL10 SH until I get to $600 4) Clear $50 Bonus at pokerstars- In Progress (131/500 FPP) 5) Move to Fulltilt, for rakeback and $600 Bonus. Grind NL25-NL100. 6) Clear $600 Bonus, and move back to Pokerstars! I'll be making updates every session or 2 with my progress, win or lose! Maybe a couple interesting hands (there are quite a few at $1 Sit and Go's &diams;) and maybe some random thoughts!

kinda meh day... first half of day no cbet worked, my moderate made hands were getting the crap raised out of them and had to fold alot, red line 45 degrees down... 2nd half every body folded EVERYTHING... red line 45 degrees up. Up a BI on the day, ev just above breakeven, not super exciting. But thought this hand was cool

Whenever i go to the library, even after a couple times it feels super awkward using just laptop alone.

ugh first session today i was $5 from NL50 shot, then had KK in 4bet pot run into set of 8's and then a set over set... and lost some little pots, breakeven for the day

Studied for 2 hours played another session, was $10-$15 from NL50 shot and had these 2 hands

So end of june I jumped back and forth between NL25 and taking small 2 bi NL50 shots but not a ton more volume as i was in exams. Then 1st of july went back to america, ended up realizing i really am sure about wanting to do physical therapy and i want to live back around home in minnesota or wisconsin, so I decided to transfer to america at the university of wisconsin lacrosse. However they were full for september so have to wait until january. Already had an apartment picked out with best friend and his gf, as well as all my friends/gf being in belgium so I'm sticking around for the semester until I can start school, will find a job and maybe take some online classes as well as hopefully improving poker game, have deal with backer/coach until november so hopefully will all work out, however will suck going back to america and not having stars to play on.

However when i got back to america i logged in to try to cash out, but it wouldn't let me cash out to moneybookers while in america, so I got gf to log in for me from belgium and then like a month later i got an email that my account was suspended. I've sent in the info proving I'm belgian and live in Belgium, but its been a week already and no word back from the pokerstars investigations people. Even after sending a follow up email I've had no word at all. Not really sure what i'll do but hopefully gets worked out soon
