cash game question (kinda obv)
so... where do we start to draw the line from 5betjamming to "just 5betting"? and how to size it?
this has been bothering me for a while... example, at today fr50 session.
115bb effective, random late mp reg opens 3x, i 3bet to 9bb from btn, he makes it 21bb. 5bet to? (3bet to 10?)
also, any thoughts on min5betting at 100bb effective?

If you have 5bet hand, just shove. How much will you bet 42bb? What's the point? I don't think minraise is the right play, right? ♦
It could depend on opponent though and how deep is your stack, but as i recall i heard somewhere, that if you put more than half of you stack in play preflop, you should ship it right away.

I don't think you should be 5betting 100bb deep. 99.9% of the time it's not a bluff so shoving looks weaker imo, especially LP vs Blinds or BvB where it's more likely people might 3bet a low pocket pair to jam over a 4bet because you're never going to 5bet with those pairs you would just ship it so it takes them out of their range when they 5bet imo. I think you can argue finding a fold with something like 99-JJ maybe even QQ after 4betting to like 20-22bb when people 5bet 100bb deep. I would only 5bet if it requires less than 25% of my stack, any more than that I'm just jamming because I don't think people have much off a bluffing range when they shove in more than a 1/4 of their stack tbh.
when you 5bet villain should have more than a potsize 6bet left else it would not make much sense for you to 5bet fold
87s vs QQ+ AK AKs
has 30% equity so you almost has the odds to call a potsize raise
so in the example effictive stacks 115 BB you cant 5bet fold if you 5bet to more than 36,5 BB. if villain should expect you to have any 5bet bluffs you cant 5bet bigger
