nh, you are getting really good odds preflop so the complete should be alright, although your hand is very weak since even a flopped set won't make a that strong of a hand most of the time.

mmh, i'm told fullring 99xx - TTxx is a real borderline limp, 88xx is still good enough?

we make sure not to overplay KJ8 type boards then?

it is definitely close and potodds are the only thing that advocate to see a flop here, with the intention to play bottomsets very cautiously.

Yeah, here i called because of the 11:1 pot odds, i thought they were too good to fold.. obviously i had the intention to play if and only if the board had been VERY good for me, and here only jacks beat me.. jacks or a brilliant UTG limping hand like KJ84 unsuited

Guys, another question...
i carefully read (and translated for the italian community) the articles about PLO, but the one about preflop play only gives pretty general information explaining the strength of the starting hands..

where could i find some more advice about preflop? for example i didn't know TT** was the borderline limping hand for a FR game, should i play and play to gain experience or i'd better look for something more?

i hope i made you understand what's the point.. not that easy to write long sentences properly
thanks a lot!

Well a book like Pot Limit Omaha: The Big Play Strategy is pretty good for getting a better picture of hand assesment. But we are also looking to bring out more Omaha articles in the future- that will deal with exactly this topic :)

i second that. you must be prepared to fold a bare set on a drawy flop vs a lot of action.

you can however flop a set with a flush draw to go broke with...

this is usually my complete / limp-from-late criterium. there must be at least one or two flops that i'm comfortable to go broke on for 100BB.
