Villain is a strange passive guy that I have even seen overlimping QQ preflop. He is extremely passive postflop as well (played an overpair pretty passively and betting very small /calling vs a raise) and pretty easy to play against even when he has hands with a lot of equity. Don't know anything about his looseness/tightness postflop.
There are some loose players behind me though.
For that reason also I'm not sure what play is best. Could have even folded
since the openlimper's range is somewhat strong and I wouldn't want to isolate myself vs a strong range with just 8 high (although I expect myself to have quite some implied odds) + overlimping is not really great because we often have to face a raise anyway (though I would expect the openlimper to call often as well, thus giving me good odds).
