Faced preflop 3bet = true - I am loosing lot of money

i dont know i use pokertracker but you can also just use the pfr percentages of the hands in unopened pot and calculate it that way. so sb 2146 *0.405 early 3116 * 0.146

OK, lets try, I played bit, so number might be little different from earlier, but not much:

This way we calculate number of hands where I raised preflop:

SB: 2149 * 0.4 = 859.6
BB: 0
UTG: 3628 * 0.145 = 526,06
MP: 5535 * 0.164 = 907,74
CO: 5054 * 0.356 = 1798,512
BTN: 3615 * 0.575 = 2078,625

Hmm, but this way I get the same as when I use filter vpip = true and raise first in.

OH, but I guess I have now to do this - use filter facing preflop 3bet and when I am first in.

In SB 96 hands. Those 96 / 859 = 0.11 so its 11%.

UTG: 75/526 = 14%
MP: 117/908 = 13%
CO: 356/1799 = 20%
BTN: 374/2079 = 18%

Hmm, FROM SB I don't face much 3bets it means, maybe makes sence because ooponent has position and likes to play postflop.

BTW, what fold to 3bet stat is optimal when stealing loose? I know it depends on opoennets, but lets say on average or I don't know - I should somehow have some orientation..

i can tell you what i am going to do.
i would start from the average 3bet percentages you are facing.
so from the button you are up against a 9% range
so i would put a 9% range into equilab.
i dont know what range you expect villain to have.
but i think something like this is pretty close.

JJ+,ATs+,A5s-A2s,KQs,QJs,JTs,T9s,AJo+,KQo.
in theory you can call the 3bet with hands that have 34% equity.
then i would use equilabs handrangecalculator and see what hands i in theory could call.
if i think i cant play all those hands i might go higer with the equity slider in equilab.

and then i would look at the hands and remove those hands i think i would have a hard time playing postflop and remove hands that might have negative implied odds hands that is dominated and thinghs like that.
then i have a calling range vs average villain

then i would go to 4betting. if we 4bet 2.4x we need 61 percent fold.
so if we say 9% *0.39= 3.51 we get the range the average villain should be defending for us not show a profit on our bluffs if we think the average villain will defend less we should put in some bluffs.

then i would do same thing in the CO where the average range you are facing is 6.66.

I think this would be good starting point on how much to defend.
and then ofcause adjust if villain deviate from average.

that is what i am going to do now.

do anyone think this is a bad approach before i start doing so?
