Flop: ($0.70) A 7 2 (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets $0.33, Hero calls $0.33

Spoiler

$2.66 pot ($0.13 rake)
Final Board: A 7 2 J Q
CO showed A 5 and won $2.53 ($1.25 net)
Hero showed 8 8 and lost (-$1.28 net)

I could have 3bet pre flop and probably taken it down but villain had solid stats for 70 hands and would have strong range from MP so I was calling for set value. I call flop and flop since he bets so small. but looking back I think I should have folded the turn as he will not have many worse hands that he will fire a second barrel with.

Hello 0744379,

Don't really like floating Ax holdings. Just fold it on the flop and leave it there. Not worth even if he does a small CB, he may as well do that with Ax to invite you bluff or come along. A lot of hands in his range are Ax.

Best Regards.
