Hello,

I am wondering what to do on the river. The villain is a passive 40/6 fish who can bet postflop from time to time with less than ideal hand.

At the moment I didn't feel like I can fold my hand against the villain thus I decided to bet/broke on the river, but now I can't tell whether betting river here is too thin and should just c/f instead? I mean, how often are we expected the fish to bet with worse here considering scary board - if close to never then I suppose c/f is the best option?

Hello burek2000,

Bet the turn bigger and ship the river, especially if you want to play for the stacks. If you block-betting it then should be rather a block-bet/Fold.

Best Regards.
