Titan Poker NL100 no reads on players , 5th hand on this table UTG ($16.00) Hero ($105.00) BTN ($105.62) SB ($186.10) BB ($122.75) Preflop: Hero is MP with 10 :club: 9 :club: 1 folds, Hero calls $1, BTN calls $1 , SB folds , BB checks Flop: ($3.50) J :diamond: 10 :diamond: 9 :spade: (3 players) BB checks, Hero bets $3.50, BTN calls $3.50 , BB folds Turn: ($10.50) 9 :diamond: (2 players) Hero bets $8, BTN calls $8 River: ($26.50) 2 :club: (2 players Hero bets $20 , BTN $40 , Hero Bets $92.50 all-in , BTN Calls $92.50 Final Pot: $211.50 Thought my hand was good and thats why I pushed but just question about players making min raises like the one on the river here there is lot of hands he could have like straight or flush but with min raise does it show signs of weakness ?

In some cases, "hero" isn't the right word

Devilfish stated on a TV show that when he plays Head-up he dont raise preflop on the bases that he can beat most players postflop and its giving no inforfation preflop , poker is not always black & white

Playing against 1 player in position is completely different from playing against 4 players out of position. Yes you can outplay them and this will be +EV at lower stakes, but you can win more (= more +EV) if you raise.
