I think you have some mistake in this import. VIllain's hand was ATh, and river was Ah?

What are the reasons behind your flop, turn and river bets?

It appears that you start out with valuebets and then by the end we turn our hand into a bluff.

i don't know what you mean. I didn't bet the flop or the turn. I bet the river because often he has a weak heart there

Sorry hvard92,

I misread the hand due to the odd format. Let's try again :)

What's the reason behind our turn call? To get to showdown or for our weak flush draw? What range did you put villain on to take this line?

Once he bets the turn, on that flush card I would most likely leave the hand because the board is getting ugly and by the river we are still OOP and can face another bet. A lot of cards on the river can also make it very hard for us to continue.

As played, once you call turn, we valuebet the river? Sure he has a weak heart sometimes but we lose to Kh,Qh and Th which are hearts that will almost always call. The weaker ones 3,5, 6,7 and 8 will call less often.

The reason by my turn call was to get to showdown yes. His pfr, AF and steal is a bit high. I quess i could have 3bet him with 99's.
I put his range on this: 22+,A2s+,K6s+,Q8s+,J8s+,T8s+,98s,87s,76s,65s,A8o+,K9o+,QTo+,JTo.

I know he was pretty agressive and i tought i was ahead on the flop and turn (wich i was).
I tought maybe he was gonna give up on the river. But then a heart came. And i knew if i checked, he was gonna bet no matter what because it's a great bluffingcard. So i bet and i tought he wouldn't call with a weak heart like that. Is it a bad call by him on the river?

It is a bad call somewhat for him however we can't expect better from a fishy player that plays 38/24.

Players like these will not fold these hands on the river. He is more likely to fold the weak heart than the big one.

And what you said above means that you actually bet the river as a bluff rather than value as you mentioned initially.

So what better hand folds here? I can't see one that can.

If you are afraid of him bluffing why not ck/call river?
