This hand was odd

Flop: because flop is quite dry, and is a 3bet pot, i bet out just a bit over1/2 not to scare him.

Turn: nothing changes, going for value from Jx

River: i tanked a ton and i went for check/fold witch might be very good or very bad... yes he can still have Jx but i thought it's way more likely he`s got a set or two pair + straight(kinda irelevant) came in on river as well.

Because of stack sizes compared to pot size any bet should come pretty much with a call, that's why i decided not to blockbet. At that time i could not see a hand that i beat, i was just thinking that Jx would not shove there.

Good fold or horrible fold? I know i most be good only @1/4 of the time to make the call :|

Maybe i`m still under the influence of coming out of a kinda brutal downswing

Hello cozacu,

Preflop 3betting is fine of course, but I don't really like your sizing here.
As in the previous hand you are doing it kind of smallish which I think is a leak on these stakes since people are just tending to call a lot and we lose vaue.
So here I would make it around $1-$1.2 since we are OOP.

On the flop I like your bet. It's closer to 2/3 pot which I do like to do in those spots against people who are potentially bad.

Turn is a blank and we have an easy bet here.

Can you give him a range that he went through the river?
I think check/folding is way too weak and it is the worst option here.
If you think that he could be having a hand like JT or J9 or T9 then he definetely has AJ/KJ/QJ and considering that we have just 1/2 pot bet left he is never folding here.
When you checked I think we are good at least 1 out of 4 times to call.

Best,
Plamen

Shove the river don't give him chance to check back his weaker hands here!
