Hi Dracsharp,

Preflop: Since UTG+1 called the 3-bet we get better odds to set mine, and we are IP and deep with him. So calling is fine.

Flop: Once BB checks he almost never has an Ax hand (other than maybe AA) although UTG+1 can still have that. We can't really bet the flop for value and we don't really need to protect because we are either way ahead or way behind.

Turn: Once both check again it's now more clear that BB and UTG+1 don't really have a hand. So i want to bet to get some thin value from weaker pairs. Our bet size is fine but we could also bet a bit larger, ~1/2 pot.

River: On the river we now lose to 55 and 88 so the only hands we may get value from are 99 and TT. And since 99 and TT would not always call (while 55 and 88 would call or raise) I like the check back. Betting would be too thin.
