[Closed] NL100 getting floated

Fold is weak here this is a typical case of floating as played I would call, blockbet river little less then 1/2 pot, this will give him a message there not gonna get bluffed out of this pot bet or calling 3 streets if he raises ur beat.

B/f turn against floaters.
His point of view is this flop most likely missed him I call the flop and then when he checks the turn I pick it up.
If u bet again its a big dissappointment for him ♦

IP playing a famous floater what u can do on this kind of flop is just check the flop for pot control/bluff induce, and then call his turn bet.

yeah i agree with the fact that this flop probably didn't hit me, but on the other hand he knows he can't represent anything at all but a 7 here because he limped/called preflop, so its not that easy.

i'm not sure about check/calling the flop, he's got a lot of PP in his range that can give me value, but I should've blockbet the turn or check/called

my play in NL100 is weird, I pull out bluff in sick spots and then I can't play TP as the PFR

As long as we beginning/intermediate players keep trying to improve we're ok

well, 12 hands don't say much
but in general, if you are against such player
he limps at least 40% there
and vpip/af 42/3 stands for very aggressive postflop play
so I think when he calls on such board, its very often total crap
no matter what hand you have, you need to barrel here

and J9 can be value beted

i would barrel again on the turn . no surprise he called . if he shows strenght then i give up preaty fast

Q on the turn is a nice card for 2nd barrel. So bet/fold is ok.
If he calls you are done with the hand.

villain is 42/25/3 over 12 hands and therefore probably not the type to limp/fold pf too often. I'd just fold (or occasionally complete) this pf as a means of staying out of marginal situations requiring better judgement than I possess.

As played I'd definitely bet the turn since the BU may quite likely refuse to give us credit for a hand on this flop.

Lets analyze the situation:

First, villain is basically unknown - 12 hands generate just random stats.

On the flop, we have TP which is likely the best hand. We bet for value and get called.

On the turn, we check and villain bets. Now folding is very weak IMO. The Q doesn't chance much. Think about how villain views the hand: you c-bet on a paired board which both players likely miss. Then you check the turn - he will float you so often or call the flop with any pocket pair and then bet the turn. Hence, I think you fold the best hand way too often. I either bet the turn again or c/c the turn.
