really sry for that downswing. Thats the worst thing when you are chasing some milestone, need big volume and face to the negative side of variance, it's suffering like hell.
Just realize, that you would have a chance to make SNE only with playing fifties or HT 6max's. No way at standard 9man, there is no traffic for that.
How many VPPs remaining to achieve the SN this year?
Just plan it better for SN next year without rush at the end and enjoy the family, life.....

For this year, I have 150k VPPs, so it s ok and as u said, no rush, I gave up on 200k milestone, right now I dont feel for it.
fify50 + HT 6maxes - I see all SNEs are goin this way...almost all. I tried last month and it is more thn possbile by playin fifty50/9/18mans, even only 9/18mans if u have more time. But fifty50+9m+18m = about 5 hours a day, no problem actually. Was doin 3-4k VPPs/day. And if I wouldnt make pace thn u can always switch for last few months to sometin...But it s not important now.
Next year am gonna start with super small roll, grind up thru stakes, will see Profit s more important and more fun for me now 
Sry double post but have to make it clear - I wasnt rushing at the end of year...I was testing if I ll do enough VPPs monthly if I wanna go for SNE next year ANd that was succes...

As I want this blog to be more about other stuff, I must share another great ovei I just watched.
LOOPER - just amazing sci-fi, dont expect like action sci-fi, more like inteligent sci-fi with great cast, great story, time travel always sucks, but director choose a new way of aproach and in movie smartly declares we shall not talk about logic in it ♦ So it works great...furthermore it is very very strong movie for me as a father coz the love between mum and son...OMG, cried like when watchin Titanic...
Btw, I mentioned it earlier maybe, but again - after becomin father movies where sometin is happenin to children or it s about the bond parents/children, u know, I get super emotional and I even cant watch few movies I would love to...so sick..again..:)

Poker - I will summarise this year in first days of 2013.
General - staying with my mum, sister, wife, daughter and closest friends in Pardubice (born city). Thats exactly what these holidays should be about - family, peace, meeting old friends, having fun and rest - so I wanna wish u all this, that u find the calm moment, day or week during holydays and the best for 2013. And we should never forget bein greatfull for health.
Poker - we should be greatfull for the opportunities we have thx to this game and ofc our hard work and skills...

Bit of delay, but lets summarize 2012, the year when the world should have ended but didnt (surpriseeee)...
I have to split 2012 in 3 parts.
1) till May 20th or so
Was grinding 15s-30s turbo KOs, working on my game and enjoying soft field, nice results and also havin rest here and there after hectic endin of the 2011. It means I was runnin great, but every time I didnt have to play, I didnt. Sometimes i was with family, but sometimes I was just doin notin = i was lazy. But thn I got opportunity to go to WSOP 2012, 2 months of Las Vegas and live grind, so I had another excuse why not grind and be with family and so on. Thinkin about it now, it makes sense but I def shouldnt be that much lazy and work harder for the worse times...
2) WSOP 2012
I had this great opportunity to go to WSOP 2012, grind all two months STT satellites at buyins up to 500$, play some events, travel. Wasnt easy to just leave my wife and daughter, gave it a lot of thinkin, but also thx to her support I went to Las Vegas with my friend Michal Maryska. Again, thinkin about it now - awesome, awesome, awesome. Unfortunately back at time I was also scared of flight, thn time changes, thn headache, thn stress, thn food - so it wasnt just fun. But next time I ll be relaxed It was awesome, I ran bad, but paid for costs. Definitely again soon.
3)September - ...
Skippin June and July coz volume was pure, was havin holidays with family, studyin 18m, thn fifty50, but not playin almost at all. Was thinkin a lot in free time, didnt want to play 15s 9mans, coz of almost no future in higher stakes, after Vegas I suddenly wanted to play higher, was thinkin about goin for SNE next year, makin some high goal to motivate myself. So i did study formats fifty50, 18mans and kept playin 9mans with plan mixin these at higher stakes and get enough volume to make SNE possible. Was runnin fine at fifty50, fine at 18mans, bad at 9mans....thn good at 9mans, bad at 18mans, just lol period. But goal was volume and learnin. Was really weird coz one day I wanted to play these, next day these, next day these...I wasnt in the good grindin mode. In November I decided to sell action and was playin 60-100s all these formats, sometimes addin 30s coz off traffic. It was fine, I def think all these games are beatable. But in december I hit sweet 175BIs downer, even when I was droppin 100s, fifty50...didnt help at all. I know I had/have some minor leaks, but still, runnin huuuge under all EVs u can imagine. Rakeback covered it, but I decided to quit that. I am not ready for this, I dont like this grindin with goal of makin nice rakeback, potentially profit. I just dont. Poker is the best think (after my wife and child) that happened to me, I wanna enjoy it, enjoy its benefits. I dont wanna grind 25tables if I dont enjoy it...I also wanna be plus, I wanna have time to study, I want to crush. I go back thinkin about start of the year when I was crushin KOs - that was the feelin I loved. Relaxed, happy - all this reflects in family, so...that s important.
I can continue in goals for this year, or first months - I took almost all roll, withdrawed, made nice backup, so I can be very relaxed in terms of livin money. I invested a lot into 18m coaching and investing lot of time on study. I kept only 125BIs for 15s 18mans and I wanna grind 3-5k of em and I ll not be happy if my ROI wont be around or above 10%. If it s less, I keep stuyin, coaching and so on. My bankroll backup are KOs - I ll use em for rebuild if neccesary. I am 100% sure I can make enough money for nice living even at 7s KOs, maintainin over 15% ROI (as my students there do...). So I feel no pressure like I felt at 100s, I feel motivated to study, to crush.
BUT - one super important think is...NOT TO BE LAZY - the biggest goal for this year. I run bad, still, but I have to keep thinkin that I beat the games, keep studyin every day, playin every free hours and I can be at 100s again soon but as winnin player.
OK...if u want some numbers, here they are, am not postin overall graph coz of all the mixin formats and stuff, u can search this blog and see monthly results.
- had one losin month - December
- best month November - 4,8k
- best day +2,4k
- worst day -1,6k
- 5 months over 4k
- played only 713 hours
- only 17k+ sngs
- solid part of winnings were also coachings/stakings
- average hourly was almost 40$
- total winnings from online, coachings, stakings - 27k (+ WSOP around 8k)
- - - - for me it s failure coz of ONLY 700+ hours
- - - - awesome coz of WSOP 2012
- - - - good for the nice money, hourly
- - - - overall obv great coz of maintainin this great job, improvin...

Last two months are very hard for me...I keep studyin, I keep playin, I keep runnin bad...had 175 BIS downer, last 1k games I had 7times 50BIs up and down, every day I grab powers and after end of sessions am like...oh man, again...
Students runnin at 15% and I struggle and struggle...
Am not a big fan of any EVs or stuff, but in times bad like this I need sometimes to confirm myself am not doin things that bad at all...u can see last 2 months in terms of allin preflops:
Slowly reachin 600k chips below EV in 10k allins pre...
