Should i play the hand different on flop ?Or should i call turn ?

Button stats : 38vpip/31pfr/13.8 3bet pf/4.8af/75% fold to cbet flop/w$sd 48.

This play look like a made flush but since i have the A :spade: it cannot be nuts.
Thanks !

Hi,

Why do we call the flop, not shove?

Apparently, we are afraid of sets. However, a min-raise on a wet board doesn't look like a set to me. A strong made hand would go for protection here and raise big.

Seems like we are up against a semi-bluff most of the time. Unless he has one of the few possible monster draws, we are ahead here and can shove. He would make a mistake by calling even with JsXs.

When calling, what is our plan for the turn? If it is a blank, draws won't pay us anymore. If it is a spade...well, that's exactly what happened, and you see the result.

Hi EnterG,

Preflop: looks fine

Flop: How many hands do you have on villain?

He seems really aggro (pre and postflop) so I may actually just play for stacks on the flop (3-bet for value).

I'd raise far more against a fish like him: 0.5 or even 0.6.

As played, I fold on the flop. We are in a multiway pot (villains tend to be more honest in this situation) and we are just flipping against some kind of pair+draw or way behind sets.

A helpful stat that you didnt post would be his raise flop cbet.

What have you seen him raise before (if anything) and how often does he raise cbets?

Thx for the reply mkapt.

I 've seen him reraise on flop even with air.But the shove on turn look like a made hand.Since we are about 200bb deep i don't think he would bluff on turn.
Once i called him 3 streets with 10Q Q top pair on flop.He barreled 3 streets with air.
