I like what I consider to be a good performance from whichever genre, even that screaming heebeegeebees stuff and to be fair it was listen-to-able in a massochistic sort of way. Not something I would have in my collection but it certainly woke me up.
Why do later <adjective> Metal all sound like they're trying to imitate "Iron Man" by Black Sabbath?
Twas worth listening to though...
Goals for this week:
1. Get so pissed off with HM2 yet again I nearly tilt. [check]
2. Go play nl4 and get enough to purchase PT4 within a week. [check and fuck HM]
3. Get headset for zimmering. [check :f_love:]
4. Play nl10 with PT4 for enough hands to get db review by the pleno1God. [what, in a week!? Don't take the piss, I'm not that good!]
So fellow icons of the (cyber) green baize, one hopes you are well and have gotten over Elaine?
I'm off to play for a bit more then simmering with a bottle or three of merlot and some good company.
Before I do, here's the group who's album was the first I ever bought - just in case you thought I was all Chirpy Chirpy Cheep Cheep!
For amusement, watch the audience in the background, they're absolutely dumbstruck! ♦ ♦
WOW, I never heard of them! It has something psychedelic about it, hasn't it. I loved it. I think I will have to spend some time in youtube to find out more about them, thanks gadget
So, had a fun time playing the zimmers game with some very nice people. It was good to take a bit of time off from the daily grind, but I did return to it later (a lot later :f_o:) as I needed cash to buy PT4 (goal accomplished ofc). Shame the zimmers game was rigged so bad people were sucking out on me preflop! Bah! ♦
I don't know what my bankroll is now, I haven't looked this week and some will go on PT4 in a few minutes but it's all good if a little less positive than at nl4.
MisClick seems to be getting the hang of these SnG things, which bodes ill for the villains. Go get 'em MC. ♠_cool:
I may challenge myself to them one day; maybe.
Oh and the music was a bit psychedelic because it was around 1969 or so I think. Nuff said there. ![]()
Ok I'm off to buy PT4 and get some hands in before the wine runs out.
Not much to say today except I'm knackered after such a late one last night.
Mal Ingerer out.
Edit: This bird definitely has the X factor, as well as insanely more talent. Just awesome and made me smile:
Have now got myself pt4, which of course doesn't reset the villain's stats to zero after the old villain leaves, whereas HM2 naturally did said operation. However, it does at least work and I have noticed a problem. Well, not even noticed really, just reaffirmed.
It doesn't matter how I start out a session, I always end up playing around vpip 17; pfr 14; 3bet 5 and it's beginning to suck. I've tried but it just sneaks up on me. Gonna have to watch some vids now I'm at nl10 or I'll be back to nl4 by next week. When my confidence goes, so does my cbet %.
Running into bad boards yes, but get a grip gadget ffs!
So anyway, played last night til late and again this morning. No good though, just some horribad stuff from me and some suckout stuff, so lost about 6BI overall; meh.
Mal Ignant out.
Good day to you fellow totem, I trust you own your games, yes?
I don't think I'll try to change my stats, i.e., raise more on a table because my pfr is looking too low, that would be daft. No, I'll stay as I am until I get used to the game - it is certainly different to nl4 - and see about taking more opportunities to take pots away from people later on.
Also, it seems that some of the more spewy regs are liable to throw a strop if you steal too much...erm...gg. ♠_evil:
This was bad, look at my 4bet = confidence problem again. I sat out after it was pathetic stuff.
I had no idea what to do, if he villain bets postflop, lol. Thought about shoving it on that board.

So now I need to learn how to do those reports and filters and stuff. Oh goody goody, can't see me fkn that up can you!? I visited to the pt4 site and downloaded a readymade filter for 4bet pots this morning, no fkn idea where that went. ♦
Anyhooooo, I lost 8BI at the weekend via a mixture of lost tunioperties, lost too many one and two outers; lost confidence and lost the plot generally; wot a muppet
Got my demi-godism back now though and half my losses as well this morning. So, gadgetworld is back on an even keel and all is smiley smiley...
Have fun peeps.
Right, so now I have some sort of hand history to look at, it may be time to spot the deliberate mistakes! ♦
First mistake, way to get the money in v a reg doofus:
Villain can have a few hands on the flop, but not on that turn brick, I know this, so wtf am I doing? Good grief. ![]()

Sometimes, in fact more than sometimes, I can play ![]()
Rule; when not in godmode, keep fkn eyes peeled, ears open and mouth fkn shut ffs!
Those spots!
I mean you can credit him for AJ, AQ, AK on that flop and you're in heaven. Yes has 55 some of the time but only really when they bet strong. Also Flush draws are plausible but we can surely discount them when he bets out the turn.
I'll fetch my newb coat ♦
So he raises flop (quick bet) and bets turn (big and quick), he's been quite quiet so far, so what range do we put him on with that betting pattern? It's aK or a set and I'm not sure he would bet that big after getting his raised called on the flop = risk averse reg type = I'm beat a lot more often than I'm ahead. What's he doing? I have top two, so unless he's getting spazzy (no sensible reason but possible obv)
Sometimes I get it wrong, but I can feel these things at the table a fair bit. Now a 70/4 guy is totally different, they own me! ♦
So far this week I'm down 9BI so it's not exactly going great. I thought I played very well today, but ya can't beat runner runner quads twice and flopped trips and..ah shurrup. lol
I do think I'm getting the idea that they are as lolbad here as at nl4 but unfortunately the losses have put me under 300 so off to nl4 it is for a few days. Bah humbug! ![]()
