maybe i will go bet/fold turn. Flop is fine since you have a monster draw and you want to get paid if you hit. River is abit of a tough spot. I don't know if villain would bet 2000 on river with a worse hand other than 4x. If villain has a wide range i think shove would be profitable otherwise calling on a paired flop wouldn't be wrong too. What did you think he had when he shoved river?

Overall, I think it's just a sick cooler.

Was thinking the 7 gave him 2 pair.

Funnily enough had a very similar situation in a live tourney last night, up and down straight flush draw + middle pair. In the SB, so i shoved and caught 1 caller to take it down with a straight.

So in general do you think shoving flopped open ended straight flush draws in multiway pots is the best +ev? (provided the board doesn't allowed someone to have already flopped a straight/flush)

imo it sux to play such draw pasively,when it hits he wont pay you off and sometimes he will cooler you, get it in on flop imo
also river reraise doesnt make sense you isolate yourself against better hands

You can donk the flop. But I would go for a checkraise. On the turn I like the ch/c because you get super good odds and this is very profitable call for you!
River goes in

But I would try to checkraise the flop!

Actually been thinking of this hand again today and trying to come up with a general way I should be playing flopped open-ended flush draws in a limped multiway pot. Of course, each occassion would be adjusted for the how loose nitty the table is, possible stage of a tournament, etc.

While fooling around with a hand calculator, I was suprised that even against bottom set i'd be around a 43/57 underdog. Had originally counted at least 15 outs but forgot to factor in the chance of the board pairing to give the boat.

Factoring in a bit of f.e, I guess shoving is a little EV+ but probably not optimal.

So all in all, perhaps i'll look to check/raise if I know the table is aggressive enough for somebody to bet into a 4/5 handed table with rags.
