This. There are awesome coaches at the hand evaluation boards. Don't follow these evaluations in this thread blindly.

About your stats, SB & CO unopened could go down and instead increase your button range. Flop c-bet is also too high. Some players ITT says that you're too loose by playing 25/21. That's not really the case, as its very standard stats. However, if you're having problems with your postflop game you could tighten up preflop to make life easier on later streets.

Post hands & look at other hands in the hand boards, and watch some videos of gameplay & theory for your limit.

This story reminds sth like myself.Maybe i will make a blog and explain in detail.

What i see about hands is that you overplay them.Don't think that because you are against fishes they have a bad hand.Fishes catch monsters as all players do.

1)First of all i think you need a clear mindset.Your username "ihatemicrostakes" and the title "I feel frustrated, can't beat this game" look like you are on the wrong side.Good players don't think like that.So 1st change that.Topic title should be sth like : "I need help to beat this game" or better "I don't but i WILL beat this game".Think positive.And you don't have to hate any stakes or anybody.You must enjoy and try to become better.POKER IS A GAME! As all games you must enjoy it to improve.

2)In general,as for the hands posted,i think you overplay them.I will not get into detail.I am not a coach.Post your hands in evaluation forum to get professional advice.But there is one gold rule here : Weaker hands are going to fold and better hands are going to call a shove or raise you if you bet.So a check behind or a call is the right move in some situations.

3)In small stakes tight is right.Play tight aggressive but don't overdo it.I suggest try to play like a nit one day.Means play only strong hands and strong draws and nothing else with low vpip/pfr.Bet, if you get raised continue only with monsters.Check your HM and look at opponent stats more carefully.

4)Study more and play less.Since you have leaks try to learn and avoid them.
Everytime before starting a session read an article.If you have read them all in your status pick one that you think you have leaks and read it again.Or pick one random.
And do a test with BSS here.Do them all.If you did that choose one random and do it again.
It 's also good to see a video CAREFULLY before playing.See how the "difficult" hands for you are played by coaches and listen their explanations.Sometimes it's good to rewind and see the hand and explanations again and again.

5)Poker is variance.The basic thing is to play your hand right no matter if you loose or win.As long as you play correct good results will follow.

6)When you finish a session post hands you are not sure about in evaluation forum.Not only lost hands or big ones.Try to post anything you are not sure about.And look through almost all the hands you played with a glance and view replay to the ones you are not sure you played correctly.Loosing and winning ones.
I suggest to post at least 4 hands everytime ( at least one winning ) when you finish a session .

So in conclusion :

1)change your mindset and think positive.
2)don't overplay hands.
3)tight up
4)a)read an article b)watch a video c)do a test b4 playing.
5)accept poker as a game,and variance a part of it.
6)post hands find your leaks and correct them

The man posted here to get help and some people tried to offer him help. If you're just gonna write:"I'm too lazy to explain" then it's better not to get involved at all. Maybe my hand evaluation is not the best one, if you think that you're better than I am and know more about the game, say it. It is possible that I am wrong about the hands as it is possible that you are more experienced and better than I am in poker, so share your opinion about the hands if you have one and you're sure what you're talking about. No need to get butt hurt, wasn't trying to offend anyone and didn't mention names. It is good that you want to help other players ofc, but if beginner learns thought process from other inexperienced players they will develop unnecessary leaks that could've been avoided if he asked advice from pros (and we have a section for that).

I've been around for long enough time and played/still play high enough stakes to know what's best for beginners as well as know a bad advice when I see it. Yours was quite poor btw, again, nothing wrong with trying to help, but you need help yourself, if you want to get explanation of what's wrong with your evaluations ask coaches. Nobody is paying me to do that.

I told him enough so my posts would be valuable and if he's going to follow my advice and ask professionals for hand evaluations then there's completely no need for me to waste my time educating him in detail on each hand as there are people doing that already.

Sure superstar, tx for the advice !:) Because the hands are not posted in the "hand evaluation" section, I have the right to post my opinion here ( and there as well ).Doesn't matter if they are perfect, mediocre or pathetic, the intention counts.

I am not trying to get hired by pokerstrategy as a hand evaluator because I already have my own job. The only 2 reasons why I'm posting is because I want to help and I want to improve my game as well.

You, on the other hand, lay low, read what everybody is writing and after you show up saying: " don't listen to them because it's wrong" but you don't express your opinion because you do feel the fear that other people can do to you what you are currently doing to everybody who evaluated the hands. It looks easier just to sit out of the discussion and sometimes get involved by saying: "You are fishes, I play NL1k". ( great help )

P.S. I am not trying to argue and I didn't say that I am a poker genius, I just think it's about common sense to avoid this moments. It's just not nice to be the guy who criticizes but doesn't share his opinion ( even if he doesn't get paid for it ). We are all here to learn, including you...

Ofc you can evaluate other members hands, you can do that in hand evaluation section just as well too. Even better doing it there as you'll get your mistakes fixed by hand judges.

As I said, it's nice of you to try and help other members, there's nothing wrong with that at all.

And I don't "lay low" and then spit out useless stuff, I gave advices on his stats (which was the original topic of this thread) as well as told him not to play 200bb stacks as a beginner. Then the other advice I gave is apparently the one that in some way hurt you. All these advices are not random crap, I give them from my own experience with improving as a poker player and using these forums.

It's hard to unlearn the leaks you learn from other players sometimes so it's always best to ask advice for hand judges rather than guys that are around the same level as you. As I said, speaking from experience, don't take it so personally.

The point of this is that you should not take advice from random people on the forums because you can't be sure if the advice is actually good. You always have to make sure that the player your taking advice from is actually a solid winner.

It's only in Soviet Russia the game beats you

Nontheless, you want to beat this game start playing live on small stakes and not online poker. Play Bigger freerolls, so that you don't loose money but slowly but surely win. DO not deposit your own money and play only from your winnings that will help you not to get on tilt (since its not your money - well it is but you won it so in fact it isn't :P)

Cut down on online poker and sit at the real poker table with your friends or other people in your area who play in pubs regularly every weekend or something. Then you will see how different online poker is from live poker and how much more fun you have and if you are following the rules and you know something about poker (even the basis) you will get some money out of it in no time.
