Hello everyone!

Thanks for the great feedback in previous weeks! It really keeps us going, keep it up!

No interesting hands today, but well post the hand we discussed.

11$ SnG QQ @ 1st hand

C/f vs a good player is prob. the best line here. Vs a bad player, there is good sense in c/r-ing, since there are some better hands that fold, and you have 10 "dirty" (not clean) outs to improve.

Thanks for listening, and see you all next week.

Hello,

I didn't really get any interesting hands. Problem is often, that Im running bad in coachings, so I dont get that far in the tourneys Im playing. However, this is a link to a interesting hand I posted @ ps.de:

https://forums.pokerstrategy.com/de/forum/thread.php?threadid=407870

De question is really, whether someone at such a limit would play like that with a worse ace or a flushdraw. His betting line doesn't make any sense for someone who isn't the preflop aggressor, and I went broke, but what would be you line here?

River: (t2980) 6[] (2 players, 2 all-in)

Final Pot: t2980

Results in white below:
SB has 4h Ad (full house, fours full of aces).
Hero has 4s 3d (three of a kind, fours).
Outcome: SB wins t2960. Hero wins t20.

I thought a small pot against a 60/25fish, thats the best way to get some value.

But I failed :(

if the players are somewhat reasonable its an easy fold imo - after the overcall you cant be ahead imo

qq with 1 raise and a call after a second raise early on in my mind shows that at best one of them has ak and at worse an over pocket pair kk or aa. Seeing as its still early on in the sng theres no need to risk your stack with at best a coinflip against ak

I think you see so many people playing with really weird crap here. Therefore I would call.
I see people go all-in in the first hand with Ax, suited crap and almost any pocket (maybe 55+).

Question is now at what limits do you stop seeing such plays and start folding QQ in this spot?

any reads? If I don't have a reason to think that hes a fish, I would fold here.

And I lost 50$ as well, because I made a bet with on him having a set, cause I knew I wouldn't win the hand and it was the most likley reason.

i think a c/r for information on the flop ... and turn c/f

expensive information. i take a c/c flop check turn line with monsters (where monster definition differs from opponent to opponent) also, so even against thinking opponents, he isn't 2nd barreling me very light. so playing c/c check turn is fine imo, and we get a similar amount of information much cheaper.

I have come to the same conclusion as chenny c/r makes no sense as It's a very expensive way of finding out if your beat

b/f also makes no sense as your not getting better hands to fold and your only getting called by better hands

so by the process of elimination c/c seems the best play here on the flop

and c/f the turn as its unlikely he's betting hands that don't have you crushed

that may be so but I do think b/f is better than the c/c because with c/c most will look weak too most players and bluff-induce with only 2nd pair doesn't seem as the best line too me. while with a c-bet all villians witout a A probably will let go of the hand and if the call or raise you're mostly beat.
