Hello,

I am currently withdrawing my money from partypoker and I would like to deposit on Stars.

I would just like to know where do I enter the code to have my account affiliated to pokerstrategy.com

Thank you for any answer!

So you entered the marketing code "strategy-en" in the correct box then WillyD :)

For future reference for other members to ensure correct tracking it is always best to follow our instructions in the download page right here:

http://www.pokerstrategy.com/poker-stars/download/

Kind regards,
Gary

Yes I did, but I just received a message from pokerstars saying that they deleted my account because of the nickname.

What am I supposed to do now to un-affiliate my deleted account to affiliate a new one?

Hey again,

Never heard of this before. Best thing to do is to drop them an e-mail and ask about your future options. I would imagine they will let you set up another account. This though is speculation and the only way to know for sure is to contact PokerStars.

Please let me know what happens next :)

Regards,
Gary

Hilarious.

I'm pleasantly surprised they bothered, though.
There are some extremely crazy names lurking out there -- well they would be if you swapped the consonants around.

Did you get the problem sorted out?

Haha I can't believe they deleted this.
I have seen much worse like
"Fishy Coot"
"Protein Sock"
"Iwanturprost8"

They answered that they couldn't do anything more to link my new account to pokerstrategy... Couldn't I just change the username affiliated to pokerstars directly on pokerstrategy?

maybe you can ask stars that can they change this nickname for you? so that you can keep and play the account.

Hey WillyD,

I don't know if that is possible. What I do suggest is to contact our customer support team and tell them about your situation and see what advice they can offer you.

Regards,
Gary
