MP2 checks, Hero bets $4, MP2 calls.

Turn: 5♣ ($13.25, 2 players)
MP2 checks, Hero bets $8, MP2 calls.

River: 8♥ ($29.25, 2 players)
MP2 is all-in $33.15, Hero calls.

Results:
Final pot: $95.55

the villain is 35/5, but he usually folds to CB. I should have checked behind the turn, am I correct?

nh. The turncard gives you a redraw, so its np to second barrel here, cause an offsuit 8 or 3 isnt a scarecard for him, and you could get trips all in with no problem.


nh, check behind on the turn is more conservative and will probably save you money in the longrun, especially if villian is usually folding to cbet (implying that he has a Q)

I think the second barrel is fine as you get pockets to fold. nh
