+1.2k from Full Tilt!

To Stars account though, as Estonians are now prohibited from FT, I guess it's because we were winning all the $$$.

I might play a bit more now... maybe.. maybe not. Almost 4 hours of volume was put in in October. And of course a poker blog is dead if there's no poker being played.

A warm welcome from FL people (November 1st, 2012):

$3/$6 Limit Hold'em - 6 players -

Pre Flop: (1.333 SB) Hero is SB with 8  8 :club:
UTG raises, MP calls, 2 folds, Hero 3-bets, 1 fold, UTG calls, MP calls

Flop: (10 SB) 4 :spade: A :spade: 3 :spade: (3 players)
Hero bets, UTG folds, MP raises, Hero calls

Turn: (7 BB) J  (2 players)
Hero checks, MP bets, Hero calls

River: (9 BB) 9 :diamond: (2 players)
Hero checks, MP bets, Hero calls

Final Pot: 11 BB
MP shows 9  2
Hero mucks 8  8 :club:
MP wins 10.5 BB
(Rake: $3.00)

I've been playing quite a lot during last few days. Without a HUD, as 888 updated their soft and HEM1 doesn't work anymore... and they don't even know yet at the HEM forums if they'll fix it at all.

It's working out great though! I love the game. Playing FL HU/3ways vs aggro guys and running hot is enjoyable, I can tell

I don't think they'll put the effort in HEM1 to address such things I'm afraid :f_frown: Good thing it's working out for you though!

Went pro in September, and played ~10k hands after that, haha :f_biggrin:

Happy new year to all!

I've been playing some poker for the last 3 days after like a month or so!

Nice start for the year, 18 BB/100 so far! :f_biggrin:

You can see that I purchased HEM2, which looks nice but sucks compared to HEM1. And they still don't have the Custom Stat feature! Disappointment. But I have to use it if I want a HUD and I like to have one.

About the game.

People are going more and more aggressive. Cr flop with air+3barrel is std fish line now, as well as raising the river with a busted gutshot. What can man do against such reckless hate? I'm just pressing the call button. Loose-passive style for the win! :f_p:

Seems that I suck at inducing:

$3/$6 Limit Hold'em - 5 players -

Pre Flop: (1.333 SB) Hero is SB with T  A
1 fold, CO calls, 1 fold, Hero raises, BB calls, CO calls

Flop: (6 SB) 4 :diamond: J  2 :club: (3 players)
Hero bets, BB folds, CO calls

Turn: (4 BB) K :club: (2 players)
Hero checks, CO folds

I was even leaning towards c/f on the turn as this guy was so tight and probably had something after calling this flop. So I was hoping that he might check back a pair or something. So the line he took was extra surprising (and proving all my reads on him wrong? ).

I have another unusual line for you, perhaps not that rare as the previous one:

$3/$6 Limit Hold'em - 4 players -

Pre Flop: (1.333 SB) Hero is BTN with A :spade: A :club:
CO calls, Hero raises, 1 fold, BB calls, CO calls

Flop: (6.333 SB) 2 :spade: 8  7 :spade: (3 players)
BB checks, CO checks, Hero bets, BB calls, CO calls

Turn: (4.667 BB) 3 :diamond: (3 players)
BB checks, CO bets, Hero raises, BB folds, CO calls

River: (8.667 BB) 9  (2 players)
CO bets, Hero raises, CO calls

Final Pot: 12.667 BB
CO mucks 6 :spade: 4 :club:
Hero shows A :spade: A :club:

I just played a sick 6h session, because everyone was just getting crazy. One maniac set up two fishes so that at one table there was 3 maniacs and reraises were just flying in. And on another table there was just me and 5 big fishes. I think I've never played a cash game this long at the internet. But I think it was well worth it, I managed to get +$1.3k, playing basically 3/6 all the time, so running 17BB/100 for 1.2k hands :f_eek:

And I didn't even play that well, missed value in couple of multiway spots on the river not believing that I could really valuebet 4 people with weak top pair after raising the turn etc.

My eyes are tired and I'm hungry. GL all :f_p:

In the past few months, poker has been making be unhappy. Making me worry, bored, angry, no matter how much I win or lose. I started to play less and less and became a happier person this way, which is awesome.

I was thinking about quitting poker. But I'd still like to have some sort of income and poker is a really nice way.

So, a fresh start. I focus on happiness, peace and joy. Sitting at a poker table, I breathe mindfully and smile. I only continue if I'm happy and peaceful. Today was the first session and I played for ~20 minutes.

I will try to play every day, ~30 minutes/day looks like a good amount of volume. I am always fully concentrated when playing. It will be an act of meditation.

It's working out really nice, expect that every-day part. I've played three or four sessions so far so it's more like half of the days, ca 25 minutes a day. I'm feeling very calm and confident while playing.

Both playing and not playing are great ways to live, I haven't yet found the right balance. I feel I should play a bit more than I'm playing now. The short-session-a-day routine looks like a great way, but I haven't managed to put it into practice yet.

Again, I was taking everything all too seriously. Hoping to not fall into that trap again, I guess I'm back :f_biggrin: :f_biggrin:
