Preflop: Hero is MP2 with 8:c, 8:s.
Hero raises, MP3 3-Bets, 3 folds, BB calls, Hero calls.

Flop: (9.4 SB) 9:s, 6:d, 3:d (3 players)
BB checks, Hero checks, MP3 bets, BB calls, Hero calls.

Turn: (6.2 BB) K:c (3 players)
BB checks, Hero checks, MP3 bets, BB calls, Hero folds.

Few hands on MP3 but looks decent. BB is loose passive.

I gave MP3 a standart 3beting range and i think i am close to 50/50 against him on the flop, but given that BB calls what do you think about raising for value?

As played i folded the turn as now im in bad shape. K is a good barrel card for MP3 but BB calls again and there are tons of outs against me plus my EQ dropped significantly.

Lets change scenario a bit. Asume BB folds on the turn. I would call and call a good river card again against unknown. I would fold on A, Q probably J and maybe on diamond. I think he will check back most of the time with his Ax and small pockets so if he bets the river its close, but agains unknown i would call one more bet. What do you think?

Your assumptions sound reasonable but though your EQ is kind of small, you have to call the turn again. I'm not quite sure because it's close as MP3's Range is strong and we cannot assume bB is always raising 9x on the Flop, neither he must raise KJ KQ KT on the Turn. On the other side, BB could have worse pairs, Gutshots and Flushdraws which he should have more frequent than he does have 9x or Kx and Mp3 could still bet with 77 AJ ATs AQ. And you can play well on most rivers. Given BB folds the Turn i'd call a blank River, fold A Q J probably. Given wider ranges, CO vs BU, i'd probably just fold on Ax and call off lighter but he'd 3bet your UTG Openraise. So lets figure your EQ against both assumed ranges and probably it's gonna be a close call on the Turn again.

Board: 6♦3♦9♠ K♣
       Equity     Win     Tie
MP2    21.84%  21.50%   0.34% { 88 }
MP3    46.26%  45.87%   0.39% { 77+, ATs+, KJs+, AJo+ }
CO     31.90%  31.70%   0.21% { TT-44, A9s, A6s, A3s, K4s+, Q9s+, J9s+, T6s+, 96s+, 86s+, 75s+, 65s, AdJd, AdTd, Ad8d, Jd8d, Ad7d, Jd7d, Ad5d, Ad4d, Ad2d, AQo-AJo, A6o, KTo+, Q9o+, J9o+, T7o+, 97o+, 87o }

Your EQ is under average and not great but still too good to consider folding. You could argue that Mp3's is not betting AJ AQ but even if you'd decrease the combos and decrease some combos of BB's range. You'd probably have to call though.

the reason you posted the hand was maybe that you ended up seing them to both have worse hands ;)?

The reason i posted this hand is becouse i didnt know if my assumptions were good and my play was correct. Results doesnt matter as long as i play reasonably and i dont like wasting your valuable time (and mine) with questions to which i know the answers. In this case i wasnt sure wheter to c/r flop and how to play the turn. Now i understand this situation better and i will feel more confident the next time i encounter something similar. That was the main goal of that post. So thank you for enlightenment!
