Have had an awful time in NL10 this week, so many coolers, admittedly some bad plays as well, I think that coming back to FR from HU has been a bit weird and I've made some bad plays as a result, 3betting too light in some spots and restealing too wide in some spots, but anyway I've been crushed at NL10 and knocked down to $360ish. In addition to the hand like the one above, where I managed to dodge losing $7.50, I've run AA into KK twice and lost both, lost several AK v non-AA/KK-pp flips and won like one, got it all in ott with nut flush vs set only for villain to river a boat, standard stuff but it feels like this has been going on ever since I started this new blog D:
So I decided to crawl back to HU SnGs, $7s at this point ofc, and I decided to adjust my BR rules slightly, I'll move up at 40BIs, and move down when I reach 30BIs, so when I hit $600 I'd move up to $15s, and drop back down if I fall to $450. This way I get a decent amount of games in and don't have to keep changing limits all the time, and it stops me tilting if I run bad the first game I decide to move up and have to grind out some more $7s again. It's also less of a psychological hit to lose $15 from $600 than to lose it from $450.
Anyway, that was the plan. Here's how it's gone:
Spoiler

$65 below EV over 76. There is one $15 in there, a couple of $1ish MTTs that I bombed in, and a freeroll, but even so that's $59 below EV over 72 $7s, which is 8.5 BIs. I know these swings can happen a lot in hypers and turbos, but reg speeds this is surely pretty gross.
Naturally I'm now feeling like complete crap about my game and I'm not sure what I'm going to do next week.
