AQs overplayed?

Well not much to do if you didn't have any reads.
His KK was masked behind his general aggressive stance.

It is easy to say in hindsight that you should have just called on the turn.
But you didn't have that information.

Question is if you had run that same flop and turn several times with the hands he played
against you that way randomized, would you have come out on top in the long run?

Maybe you should look into ways to read you opponent better.
I have no idea what you already do and what the next step would be in taking notes for you.
But lack of information seem to be your main issue here.

Well played and good comments floaty. What hands do you raise here if you dont raise this one?! that is a good point. His range is clearly wide...he can have a few more pockets there (88+ hands like AK is clearly there but also AJ,AT,KQ,QJ...are not impossible....c/c in this spot is pretty bad unless you have a certain read. You dont want him to control the hand when you have such a hand...you dont want him to play perfectly with Ahigh(which will check behind on river)...so c/r is totally fine,getting 3bet is ugly but folding not an option....calldown in hopes of spew,overplays with KQ or obv split with AQ

One other viable path which is totally legit is to just donk turn...this way you prevent him from checking behind with Ahigh...also it can provoke more spews from agro players since donking seem kindda wierd and above all you will get more calldown appart from c/r when your hand looks really strong

I like the play, c/r is definately the right thing

Even u loss the hand by going for SD u will win more hands in long term when u c/r such strong hands oop & beting river for value when villian will go for SD with his hand where he is behind

I agree with dawn u still have equity for a SD so well played & dont think to much about result

Do I raise all my Q in this spot then? My range for a 3bet vs a laggy bu is something like 33+,A2s+,K5s+,Q7s+,J7s+,T7s+,97s+,87s,76s,65s,A5o+,K8o+,Q9o+,J9o+,T9o,98o, so I'm gonna have even Q7s in that spot plus I will have some fd aswell... thinking that if I dont raise all my queens but raise all my fd then the semi-bluff part of my range will be to wide and if I only raise my top Q-hands then my raise will be to value strong for him to call down with hands he otherwise might call with, 88 99 Ax or even xT

Not much to say except I love donking turn. c/c and lead turn is a wonderful and very underutilized tactic imo.

Beyond that, your play was very solid. Just your bad luck he hit the top of his range. ♦
