Hi! I'd like to know what do you people think of $1 + $0.20 and $2 + $0.40 SnGs... Are they worth it (20% rake)?

I don't like them, because of the blind increasing rime. That is onlly 7.00 min and imo too short.

Yea same, I think 7 minutes levels are too short, and more short more on luck it depends... I don't like the rake either, on fulltilt the $2 Sngs are $2+$0.25 right?

yep, on fulltilt they're $2.25, but the blinds increase every 6 mins (reg sng's) n every 3 mins in turbos, I think the size of the blinds increases are smaller though.

I quite enjoy them, especially the $2 Zagrebs. I have played 7 today for a total investment of $16.80 and have cashed for $34.00 . Not bad for a beginner I think.
It seems to me that understanding the ICM theory is the most useful tool for cashing in these. Getting to the push or fold stage is relatively easy. Having worked through the ICM Trainer Light has helped me lots from there on in. A big thanks to PS for that tool!

Hello Fagin,

These sng's are definitely beatable. i think 7 min. blind levels is quite long, so that should make it even easier. Gl.

i like them for getting back some of the cash i lose
perfecting my money game >_>
im getting there.

I got $40 in 10 SnGs of $2, I'm not sure it's good for a begginner either..

In my experience the shorter a Sit-n-Go's levels are the higher my win-rate is. The reason being less experienced players don't know how to play well with <20BB.

I mainly play the $1 SNG's on Titan, my ROI on Prague (30 Player 7min levels), is about 50%, so can't complain. Do ok in the 6 player turbos as well.

They are very soft even on the $5 & $10 & easier that Stars/Party ones
The turbo ones have 4 mins blinds with 1500 chips & normal 9 mins with 1500 chips

The 7 min ones have 1000 starting chips & these are a lot more lotto & tend to give them a miss & play the Turbo ones

7 min blinds at $1 and $2 actually have 1500 starting chips.
I think it's less of a lotto than turbo.
