Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

Hand afspelen

$0.05/$0.1 No-Limit Hold'em (5 handed)

Known players:
[tg]BB$4.00:///////;MP3$7.47:///////;CO$14.92:///////;BU$10.00:///////;SB (Hero)$10.05:///////;[/tg]

Preflop: Hero is SB with Q:s, A:s.
2 folds, BU raises to $0.30, Hero raises to $0.90, BB folds, BU calls $0.60.

Flop: ($1.9) Q:h, Q:d, 8:s (2 players)
Hero checks, BU checks.

Turn: ($1.9) 9:s (2 players)
Hero bets $0.90, BU calls $0.90.

River: ($3.7) 7:h (2 players)
Hero bets $1.80, BU raises to $3.80, Hero ??.

Is my flopplay correct? I checked hoping he would bet, so I could raise. But is betting better?

Hi jonkie,

Looks like you posted in the wrong forum.

I would 3-bet this larger preflop OOP, at least 10 BB.

As played I think you should cbet this dry flop and expect to get called by pairs, worse Qx and even A high.

I don't think we should ck/raise if he bets, just check call

As played the river is at least a call but he may raise worse Qx thinking that our range is weak (we checked flop) so shoving is an option too.
