3.One more thing is, I have never developed a skill, to stop the session when I'm running really baaad. I mean I haven't mastered sticking to the stop loss limit rule.

4.And finally, I started changing my whole life.

1. try setting session goals. For example, todays goals will be to not check the cashier and focusing on 3b defense. If you have a warm-up routine you can incorporate your goals in that so you start preparing for the session in the right way. Do you currently do any of this pre-session?

2.Can you explain a bit more about this?

3.Are you trying actively to catch this early? What does you current stop loss strategy look like?

4. Awesome dude! Keep at it! Don't forget to post about theses things as well. Maybe you will inspire someone else top follow your example!

1. I'm rarely doing pre-sessions, just sometimes watching videos for pumping up motivation or something similar, what are the good ways to warm-up?

2. Umm.. it's like that I play when I'm bored and don't have anything else to do or playing not focused and because of that my game is really bad at those sessions and sometimes very harmful for my bankroll. But this problem is almost solved for me. When I realise that I'm playing terribly, I just turn off poker site and comeback later.

3. This problem was very harmful for me when I was on a 100BIs below EV downswing, but now I'm more mentaly stronger after I survived that and pretty happy that it happened to me. I have a 5BI stop loss rule, but I rarely follow it, if I'm feeling that those beats doesn't influence my game, I still keep playing.

4. Thanks! It's awesome how balanced nutrition, loads of water, power naps, making goals, .. and etc. etc. can skyrockect your results :f_love:

1.) It's totally up to you. Some guys like watching 10min of a vid, some like stuff like meditation (have a look at Eric's vid released last week).
I always watch at the hands I marked the last session, and I think that's a good thing too, because it forces me to mark hands during the session:)

Just try some stuff out, anything pokerrelated. Compare poker to any kind of sports. Before the match you need to warm up. Whether you just run / do any kind of other sports (e.g. in my table tennis club we were used to play football for warming up:D). If you find anything which you like doing, that's probably best:)

2.) I tried out writing some things down before starting a session: One of it was Start time of session and End time of session. It's like setting an alarm. If you start at 4 and set the end at 5, it should be more difficult for you to just continue playing without a reason ( It's okay to say: Hey, I'm playing really well atm, I keep on playing). Therefore you can write down after your session the time you actually finished playing.

3.) Almost same as in point Nr2. If you say you got this stoploss , that's fine. The most important point is that you think about your game when reaching your stoploss: "Oh, I lost 5 BI. Am I still mentally fine to keep playing?"
If your answer is yes, keep on playing should be fine. If it is no, stop playing:)

4.)gr8:)

If I remember correctly, your redline and blueline are like opposite now... !?

What changed and what are you doing differently? Bluffing every hand? :P

Yeah it's almost opposite, but before March, for some time redline was shaking around 0 and blue is going up. Now after watching some videos, I'm trying to outplay my opponents more, also doing that overbetting stuff and so on, sometimes I feel that I won't push villain out of the pot, I still stack off and it ends with  what a dumbass I'm... 2-3 those spewy hands, and all my profit of the session is gone it's intresting how would graph would look without those hand, where I knew that I shouldn't get too much out of line.

The only way to get better is to keep trying and figuring out what works and what doesn't...

Once you figure it all out, then I'll get some coaching and save myself some money from trying all the different bluffs!

Hey!

Some more ideas for warming up (along with great ones from alderfader :)):

-Taking a shower
-Drinking a big glass of water
-Going for a short jog/walk
-Doing some pushups or similar blood exercises to get your blood flowing
-Reading your vision statement to motivate yourself
-Review the new concepts you've learned and select one to focus on during the session
-Review the leaks that you have and focus on fixing one during the session
-Going on a rollercoaster if you have one nearby .

You can brainstorm some more yourself of course ;). Just think about what wakes you up, makes you aware, gets your blood flowing etc. :).

1&2. Just like Schnitzel said. Have a structured warm-up that you always do before every single session. That will defeat this problem because the warm-up will make sure you are in a good state of mind. I will cover that Here

3. Set alarms every hour or so to remind you to take regular breaks. We all need them :)

Thanks for those answers, Erik and Primož :f_love:

Lately, a little bit reduced my time spent working on my mental game, I was focusing on grinding and poker strategy at the tables, but definately should comeback to this area too.

Already raised up some cool habbits, but have a loot of more work to do. Ok off now for meditating

Personally I'd like to hear more about your Meditation experience. Any struggles or hurdles?

Cheers!

@Erik, it's hard for me to not to think about anything or stay in the present moment, but still it helps to relax, I think in some time I'll master it a little bit more :f_p:

And here it is my oficially first NL200 session :f_love:

Good luck at 200NL! :)

Remember that when its hard for you to focus and stay in the present moment you are probably trying too hard. You can force it. Just try to be still, calm, and relax more when you feel like that. Ry that and see how it goes..

Keep me posted! :)
