MP2 ($9,455)
CO ($13,785)
Hero ($13,733)

Dealt to Hero J♣ T♥

fold, fold, fold, fold, fold, fold, Hero calls $700, SB raises to $5,563 (AI), fold, fold

SB wins $2,865

Hello guys.

Didnt have any information about the blinds.

When they folded to me I actually didnt want to fold that hand, but wasnt happy to raise/have to call SB either cuz of my stack size so I decide to limp it and see a cheap flop if possible, and if the SB shoves anyway I could easily fold getting worst then 2:1 pot odds.

I started to experiment that limp @ BTN thing and it seem to work fine and also confuses the other regs.

Seem to work fine especially when you have two pretty aggresive 15-20BB regs on the blinds and you have a hand which is OK to play but you dont want to shove it directly neither to raise/call.

Hi all,

This is a tough one to balance. If SB views he has fold equity here, he can shove very very wide. I like openlimping with everyone with 20bb effective (so we don't have to fold to a resteal), but I think it's some difficult to quantify amount better to minraise in this spot. SB will be quite tight anyway seeing as how he has no fold equity.
